“It is extraordinary and the best restaurant in this area. Despite the fact that for 2 years in England we were disappointed in restaurants, but we really liked this restaurant. A pleasant atmosphere, excellent service staff, an incredible owner who personally approaches each table and cares about the fact that everyone was comfortable and tasty. We travel often and have enough experience to give this establishment the highest rating. I recommend this cozy restaurant for a pleasant time spent with family and friends. I wish the owners, despite their no longer young age, good health, generous guests and further development in this difficult business of running a restaurant business.”

“Tonight’s meal to celebrate a birthday was fantastic. We ordered banquet 2 for 5 adults, we were all served at the same time. Each course was piping hot and absolutely delicious. We asked for a break between each course which was fine. Will definitely be coming again”

“Absolute 10/10 Chinese takeaway, proper traditional. Decent portion sizes, good amounts of meat and could tell everything was fresh, even down to the veg. Easily the best Chinese in the area if you want proper food and friendly staff. Ignore Phil’s 1* review, the takeaway has zero control over Just Eat drivers. The lady tried to help him and said if he wanted to cancel the delivery and ordered for collection they’d give him the food but couldn’t give it him for free as they don’t get the money if it’s not delivered. Everyone else in the takeaway understand that so not sure why he didn’t. He obviously just wanted someone to shout at, glad they stood their ground.”

“We've been customers of Wongs for many years and have never had a bad meal from there. The chippy itself is always spotless, the staff (especially Mr and Mrs Wong) are very friendly and efficient, and (with the exception of sausages, pies and prawn crackers) all food is freshly cooked when ordered - usually either by Mr or Mrs Wong. The portion sizes are very generous too. Please note Wongs is closed on Tuesdays. To date there is no delivery service - but it's well worth the trip to the shop.”
