“I began lessons with Jan back in 2010, having already taught myself some of the basics I started lessons with the aim of sitting my Grade 5 ABRSM Piano exam. Although this aim was rather ambitious, Jan took me on and we began work right away. Straight away, I found Jan very approachable, friendly, and warm, which really eased my nerves during my first few lessons. Jan's teaching style is highly engaging, and I always found myself looking forward to lessons with her. Jan's lessons are very structured and easy to follow, but no two lessons feel the same. She always makes the interesting and fun, while providing highly constructive feedback and practise plans. I sat my Grade 5 within 6 months of lessons with Jan, and continued through until Grade 8 with her. Through my lessons with Jan I found my technique and musicality improved substantially, and I feel like much more of a confident pianist because of her. It had been a goal of mine to achieve Grade 8 since I was a child, and it's thanks to Jan that I was able to achieve this. Even since finishing my lessons, I've stayed in touch with her and she's always there to assist me in any piano related stuff i.e. suggesting books/repertoire etc. It was an absolute pleasure to be a pupil of Jan's for many years, and I couldn't recommend her enough.”

John is very calm , methidical and systematic. This approach has worked really well for my son as he just needs clear straightforward instruction along with lots of encouragement. “Would highly recommend purchasing a tv from Martin Dawes, Warrington. Stuart, a sales representative spent considerable time with us explaining the different manufacturers and models of tv. He was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to ask questions of. It made a nice change dealing with someone who wasn’t pushy and who was very considerate towards us. We would highly recommend speaking to Stuart before purchasing your tv from any other shop.”

“Today I visited the St Helens store and approached two gentleman one was called Jordan I didn't catch the other gentleman's name, extremely friendly I needed help regarding cables for a VCR I found, my mum's just recently passed away and I wanted to watch these video tapes to help me remember. These two lads were fantastic they knew it wasn't a worthy sale but they went above and beyond they expressed sympathy as I got upset and made me feel comfortable! I visited the store around 10am. Please give these two men a incentive as they both represent the company so well and I will be back in this store this week to make sure they have both been acknowledged by management”

“My wife went into Currys to buy a new mobile phone, once she had looked at a few phone's she asked an assistant several questions, he was very polite and answered all the questions my wife put to him. Then they went through the payment options. My wife chose the best option for her and the phone was delivered the very next day to our home. Most phones are in the shop but with it being Christmas it had to come from the local warehouse. Definitely recommend Curry's a visit.”

“Absolutely fantastic service!!! I bought a heating pad from Argos in Telford yesterday. It didn’t work and I lost my receipt. The two wonderful ladies that helped me this morning, were able to find my order and replace the defective heating pad very quickly. I cannot say enough about how happy I was with their service!!!”

“Big store - plenty of choice. Get a clubcard to get best prices. Loads of parking spaces, trolleys usually in good condition. I live just over border in Wales so alcohol is cheaper here. Wales minimum 50p/unit. E.g. box of 18 beers £10 (with clubcard) compared to over £15 Wales. Worth the petrol money when buying a few boxes”

“I read some reviews today when I was looking for the Sunday opening times. The negative reviews I read prompted me to write this one. I love this Asda and I find it really handy. I know what it stocks and understand that it is quite small, but it has always worked for me and my family of four. The best part of this particular store, however, is the staff. They are always friendly and helpful. They will open a large till for those with trolleys and they will sort any issues you have with a smile. I was there again this morning and had a good shopping experience. A great store with brilliant staff.”
