“I had heard about the tea room from others so decided to take my mother for afternoon tea today. It was absolutely fantastic and we were both trying really hard not to gobble everything down to get on to the next treat. We savoured the sandwiches, the numerous small cakes and then the scone. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and we were not rushed in any way by the friendly staff. Would definitely visit again and great value for money. I also loved the mango and passion fruit green tea. A big well done to Poppy and her team for creating such a blissful experience.”

“We Celebrated my Retirement last night. We were a party of 15 and we had the most wonderful night. We all enjoyed different food choices. The staff were Excellent, attentive and very helpful. “First time at the slow and easy for years and what a lovely experience. Walked in the the ambience was lovely. Welcomed by the waitress and chose our place to sit, was quieter than we expected but felt nice. Food was cooked to a high standard the steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare and were really tasty. The food combined with the feel of the pub and the lovely waitress Erica has made us want to come back again. We had a pint in the bar at the end of the meal around 20:00 and felt like a pub where local people can have a laugh and enjoy the banter. We will be coming again v soon. Thank you to all the staff and Erica for being so attentive.”

“Always spot on. Best Indian around in my opinion, portion size are generous and food is always piping hot when it arrives. Kebabs are fresh and naan breads are delicious. Tried most of the menu at this point and never really missed. Curry sauces are tasty, especially pasanda and Malaya. Our go to take away. Keep it up eastern spice. 10/10”

“Great breakfast nicely cooked 3 full English breakfast and one fried egg on toast. It would be nice if the staff smiled a bit. It sometimes feels as though it's a " think yourself lucky you are being served," approach to customer service. It was busy at the time to be fair, and the staff looked pushed. But I've had the same when it isn't busy. Will persevere as the food is tasty and good value.”

“I called in at the garden centre today as I needed 2 trellis....I couldn't see one of the sizes a young lady at the till said they had 4 of the size I needed ....so a your man helped me look he found them but they were on a display!!!.. he went out of his way to ask a manager if I could buy on if them and he got me a discount as it had been on a display..then an older man came and help get the trellis off the display..sorry I didn't get there names... Great customer service really big thanks to these 3 staff members.. very happy customer... Many thanks Sue Brazendale”
