There was a fantastic selection of cheeses and cured meats with plenty of lovely veg and olives too. The atmosphere was very cosy and relaxed with some great tunes as well. A must visit for any occasion. Service with a smile. Atmosphere top notch. My only criticism is they have to many tables upstairs probably to maximise space. This is not a really issues if you like a more cozy environment.”

“Happy days! Absolutely lovely place in Mold. The food was delicious — I especially recommend the garlic mushroom cheese grill! Staff were super friendly and welcoming. It’s pet-friendly too — they even gave a bed for our dog Coco, which was such a thoughtful touch. Relaxed atmosphere and a great spot for a casual bite or drink. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Venue Hire Review: My dad recently passed away and we wanted somewhere private to hold a Celebration of Life with his family and friends. I therefore reached out to a few places to find out what they could offer and enquire about the room and buffet options they had available. The Holiday Inn Chester West replied quite quickly, but most importantly they offered their condolences before going into any kind of sales pitch, which the other companies did not. Harriet sent us a lovely Celebration of Life brochure and said that we were welcome to visit to see the room available, so we arranged to take my mum up a couple of days later. We were extremely impressed with what was on offer for the price and therefore paid the deposit there and then. On the day itself the service provided exceeded our expectations. The room was beautifully decorated and just the right size for our guests. The food was delicious and plentiful and there was a great choice available to suit all tastes. There was a Bluetooth speaker available, so we created a Spotify playlist of some of my dads favourite songs which helped to create a lovely atmosphere and the staff also helped us to set up a photo display that I had created, along with a beautiful memory table. All of the staff were absolutely brilliant and I cannot thank them enough for helping us arrange a lovely Celebration of Life during what was a difficult and emotional time for us all.”

“It was my first time at this place with my partner even though she lives in Mold she used to tell me the story when she was little how she used to come to this place with her friends after-school and summer holidays so I travel on my way from London to come to this place I was not disappointed beautiful scenery is not to see unfortunately it's a rainy day the beautiful landscape and the mountains surrounding that makes this place enjoyable place to be with children also there is a cafe for dog lovers also a gift shop and other activities.”

“Food - It's McDonald's so you get the same every time. Service - It was good, with the food happily brought to us. Atmosphere - No issues, it was clean and tidy.”

“We turned up at 1030pm after a gig. They were happy to make a number of individual dishes we ordered, then gave us tasting options on the mains to make sure the spice and heat were to our liking. With fresh coriander and flavours, I can't wait to eat the whole lot!”

“We’ve always ordered from Elm Kebab and we normally pick up on a Sunday Evening after a bingo session in Wrexham. However having not gone to Wrexham and Elm not delivering to our address we tried elsewhere and were never satisfied with the food. Then Elm came available on just Eat and Food hub delivering to Halkyn and we ordered. In all our time ordering from them it was only the last order that was a little shabby not the food as that’s always lovely but a massive drop in portion wise. We started to notice a few times when collecting that Denis wasn’t there as he’s just fantastic and in his place was an elderly gentleman who was giving out really poor portions. It was saddening to see that a £17 chef special was less filling than a large chicken kebab we used to get. And that reflected on our last delivery too. We left our thoughts on the food hub and said we loved the food but were so bitterly disappointed to see the portion size decrease but no reflection in the price. I’m so so happy to see they’ve acknowledged it. Tonight we ordered and we got what we were used to getting. The most fabulous large chicken kebab, a fantastic large donor wrap, large chips and large hot & spicy pizza. We have to give them 10/10 because although the order said 50 minutes delivery it turned up in 25 minutes. Everything was so hot it was lovely and they even threw in a 7” free cheesy garlic bread. As I say apart from last delivery (hence nothing wrong with food just portion size) they have tonight done themselves justice and gone over board with food quality, size and delivery. Therefore we will be staying with them and not choosing to go elsewhere. Thank you Denis and the team for tonight’s wonderful delivery. Truly appreciated ♥️”
