“Great experience with Wirral Small Pet Hotel - We have 2 very young Guinea pigs and they were well taken care of whilst we went on holiday for a week. We loved seeing photo updates. We will definitely use again next time we go on holiday.”

“Eleanor was absolutely fantastic when our hamster Autumn stayed for nearly 4 weeks. I was worried I wouldn't find somebody who would spend time with Autumn as a lot of places just feed hamsters and don't bother with them but Eleanor and her daughter were fantastic. I received pictures and updates throughout her stay and felt so at ease I didn't worry once as I knew she was in the right place. If you want your pet to be spoilt and treated like one of their own this is definitely the place to take them!”
“A home from home- mine have always been happy at Julia’s. They have lots of space as they are house rabbits and used to it. Julia is caring professional and literally works magic with mine ❤️ they always come back settled and happy thank you for all you do x”
“Our cat always receives excellent care at Boma Cattery - he is well looked after and is always very content and comfortable going in. The staff are very friendly and are easily contactable if you want to check in or order some room service for your cat while you're away!”
“I wouldn't leave my border collie with anyone else. I have full confidence every time I leave him and he has the best time at Canine Capers. Emma and James are brilliant him and all his quirks, and they've been lifesavers over the last couple years! We love the Facebook updates too, it's so good to see how happy all the dogs are.”
“As I was travelling from France to Ireland, I made a small detour from my route to visit this address, recommended warmly by The Telegraph. A fortunate decision, it fell well. The pub has that particular English warmth, friendly faces, a gentle buzz, and a dining room with paintings that catch the eye and chairs with a little personality of their own. The meat comes from the owner’s organic farm, which already tells you that things are done with the spirit of the house. As it was December, the pub offered their Christmas menu. We began with the Beef Bon Bon and horseradish emulsion. A familiar flavour, yes, but here it was well married, the crispy and creamy textures meeting each other with a harmony. A fine beginning. For my main course, I chose the Beef Wellington with potato terrine. A dish of tradition, executed with care and elevated with a smoked garlic flavour, even a Frenchman must admit the beef was cooked right. My partner chose the Lemon Sole Bonne Femme, a light and pleasant plate, nothing too much, nothing missing. Exactly as it should be. Dessert brought two final pleasures: the Pumpkin and Ginger Brûlée, gentle and seasonal, and a White Chocolate Torte with dark chocolate and coconut tuile, a combination that could have gone in all directions, but here it was held with a master’s hand. The staff were attentive and in good humour. The barman, with that calm English assurance, encouraged me to try a local cask ale. It is not a drink I know well, but the wonderfully named Barnsley Bitter was a surprise, round, agreeable, the sort of thing that goes down all alone. I ordered two more without hesitation (my partner, fortunately, had the wheel). A small detour, yes, but one that left me with the feeling of having made a beautiful escape along the long road.”
“Just collected my 2 girls from Rose Tree. I was very nervous leaving them as not been into kennels before. I need not of worried, they've come home very happy look absolutely lovely . They had a bath smelt beautiful. The regular pictures posted on Facebook really reassured me . The outdoor paddocks are very secure. And lots of toys to play with. staff are really amazing and clearly love the animals like their own Thank you all for looking after Suzie & Mollie. Will defiantly use them again.”
“Great overnight stay on the way to Scotland. Well maintained site with water at each pitch. Super views. Lovely animals, Highland cattle, sheep and two friendly Shetlands. Watched the skines of geese flying over here.”
“Absolute brilliant spot to stop off at for the night, or however long you’re in Chester for. Even if you’re from Chester and looking for some down time I would highly recommend this place. It’s positioned in the most convenient spot, with a great rooms, a great restaurant and great staff. Me and my partner enjoyed our stay here very much. Thank you guys!”
“I first needed to kennel my dog when she was 8 yrs old, so naturally i was apprehensive, not only because of her age but because she was a rescue and so a little skittish at times. Hendre kennels came recommended to me so i gave them a try. I can honestly say its the best decision i made. They are so caring and patient as well as being friendly and welcoming. Like i said my dog is a rescue so she has a "quirky" personality haha.....in other words she can be moody, sulky, picky and sometimes just plain ignorant!! Dani and her team have welcomed all her quirks and love her to bits which makes my holidays even better knowing my girl is in the best hands. I cannot praise and recommend Hendre Kennels enough they really are the best.”
“Sami is just wonderful, the true Dr Doolittle of the pooch world. she puts so much effort into training and playing with Mabel. filling sessions with mixture of fun, scent trailing, ball throwing, running and socialising. mabes is far better behaved now, calmer and more content. can't praise the woof woof woof club enough, just wish we had found Sami a long time ago.”
“My Mother's dog, Teddy, had never stayed in kennels before & we were so concerned he would pine for Mummy! Quite the reverse! From the moment Teddy & we met the completely delightful Eirlys & Gwynfor, we all knew he was in safe hands! In fact after they had dropped Teddy back to us, he lay by the door & cried! He absolutely had the best time at Celyn!”
