“We turned up as a party of 4 with 2 young children without a booking at 5pm. The staff could not have been more accommodating despite being quite busy. We were advised the wait was 30 minutes to order but were offered a table and some christmas drawing activities to keep the children occupied. A nice touch. Food was exceptionally good, with both children polishing off all their plates. Steak and ale pie & highland venison duo are highly recommended for adults! Very warm and welcoming pub. Highly recommend & will certainly be calling in again in the future after a visit to Polesden Lacey.”

“Took my 8 years old niece and 5 year old nephew. Booked in advance online and was very quick and easy to book. Parking is available onsite for free. Getting in was very quick and easy. The children's play area is large and the kids absolutely loved all the equipment, which is very study and well built. We also went on the pedalos and did archery (both cost extra) - the staff were all really friendly and I especially want to give a huge thank you to Max who was super kind and patient with the kids during archery and made their day. We finished the day with the Discovery Trail - this is a lovely walk by one of the lakes and in the woodland. We would have stayed longer but had to leave as it was closing. Will definitely be back!”

They look forward to going to lessons each week and the teachers make it fun a particular highlight being the end of term certificate presentation and “fun week”! “I visited the Jobbers rest for the first time yesterday and was blown away with the quality of the food. I can probably say that was the best roast dinner I’ve had from anywhere. I had the beef which just melted in your mouth the roast potatoes were crispy and cauliflower cheese was included in the dinner. I also thought it was great value for money for what I received. They had a wide variety of drinks the wine I had was delicious. The waiting staff were good. On the whole a really pleasant experience and would definitely recommend.”

We like the sashimi salad, unagi dragon roll, spicy tuna maki and salmon avocado and uramaki. We made a reservation on a Friday night and it wasn’t too busy. Would highly recommend it!”

“My lovely boy Loki has weekly hydrotherapy and laser treatment with the amazing Dogtown team. They are so knowledgeable and brilliant at what they do. Loki is a gentle and anxious rescue dog with hip dysplasia and arthritis, and the team are so intuitive and kind to him. Look how happy he is in the pool!
