Whether it has been re spraying a range rover, ordering parts for a car that is no longer imported into the UK or just sorting out a difficult problem. They always charge fair and reasonable rates and carry out exceptional work. I am using them again now so I wanted to take the time to add this review because of the time and support they have given me. They are also excellent at servicing and providing MOTs.”

“I just popped in on the off chance without an appointment, for a wash and blow dry as had a date the next day and couldn’t do anything with my hair.. Had Clara, who was delightful. Everyone was very friendly and I was offered a cup of tea. Clara did an excellent blow dry - great volume and also offered to tidy up the back of my neck with the razor.”

“Updated review! Around a year ago I wrote a review for A1 pitstop, but at that point I had only been there for my MOT’s, which I still do! I wanted to review the other work I’ve had done there. A few months ago I had a very slow puncture on one of my tyres and I couldn’t figure out what was causing it, I called the garage and within 1 working day l was booked in! Mehdi and his colleague got their little head lights on and managed to find a tinnie tiny nail in a really awkward spot, they repaired it and then checked the pressure of all four of my tyres making sure they were what they should be. I have had no issues with this tyre since, and to my surprise I was only charged £25! More recently as a result of my cars service at a main dealer I was informed my front break pads and break discs were 80% worn and needed replacing, they offered to do this work for nearly £300. I said I would like to see if a place more local to me would do this sort of work instead. I called A1 pit stop the following week to ask if they did this, which they did! They texted me with a quote and had availability the following day at a time I picked. Once I arrived Mehdi and Denise wanted to check the car to see if I actually did need the work done as sometimes (not always!) main dealers say you do when you actually don’t. I really really appreciated this, it just shows what an honest garage this is. The work was all done and I was charged less than I was quoted, which was already substantially less than the main dealer. If anyone is looking for a garage for repairs or MOTs I really recommend A1 pitstop, it’s so reassuring going somewhere I can trust. Original review over a year ago: After my car reached 3 years old I had to start taking it to get its MOT. I had a look around my area and A1 pit stop stood out. It’s super close to me and had great reviews. I have now taken my car here for the past few years and I am so impressed with the service. On the most recent occasion I accidentally turned up an hour earlier than my appointment but they were more than happy to get working on my car as soon as they could. I then got a call 50 minutes later letting me know all has gone well and it is ready for pick-up. The price is very reasonable for the work they do, they let me know my tyres might need replacing soon and presented me with options and costs, also the name of the tyres I had on already (I wouldn’t have had a clue!). Denise on the front desk is kind, polite and always willing to help anyway she can. The gentlemen that does the work on the car is friendly and very good at his job. I will continue to go here for my MOT and my parents and friends have also started to go here based on my experiences.”

“I had a very smooth experience at Dr Langdon's Practice, I had to do an emergency root canal and I was very nervous about it. Dr Langdon was kind and caring and made sure I had no pain during the surgery and offered his help in case of any issues afterwards, which I had none. “I was honestly so discouraged by the reviews that I was planning on cancelling my appointment, but I have to tell you I had a completely different experience. The ladies in the reception were lovely, my counsellor was fantastic, I’ve had multiple therapists in the past and for the first time I actually felt heard. Also just from sitting in the waiting room and overhearing the counsellors escorting their patients out the premises, everyone is so kind here. I saw another review saying the ladies in the reception area don’t answer the phone, but I heard them answering, I saw them helping visitors, I’m quite confused by the terrible reviews but I guess everyone has different expectations. I’m really grateful for getting such a lovely counsellor and I would encourage anyone reading this to at least give the centre a go because it might not be as bad as the reviews make it out to be.”
