“I stop by about once or twice a month as a little treat, either on my way to work or over the weekend, and every time I’m welcomed as if I were a daily customer. The team is always incredibly friendly, greeting customers warmly, chatting with them, saying hello to their dogs, or even complimenting their outfits. The service is consistently quick, even during the busiest times, and the coffee and pastries are always spot on. The atmosphere is wonderful too, great vibes all around. The full breakfast was cooked to perfection: the eggs were just right, the grilled halloumi was a lovely touch, and everything from the beans to the mushrooms was packed with flavour. I also really appreciated the fresh avocado and crispy hash brown, which made the plate feel both hearty and balanced. The coffee was rich and smooth (I had the black Americano), and the cappuccino looked beautifully presented too. The staff were friendly, and the rustic wooden table combined with the comfy booth seating made the whole experience warm and inviting. Whether you’re after a classic English breakfast or just a great coffee to start your day, I highly recommend Chester’s. Will definitely be back again!”

“Great hidden bakery/ pizza joint. Park at Asda (2hrs free), then walk across the road. The bakery is well hidden but well known amongst the warehouse workers. Driving here, I saw many other cafes and restaurants which I'll visit on my next journey to this part of town. I ordered the lamb kofta pizza which was made to order, so extremely fresh and hot from the oven. I also had the garlic sauce which makes it feel like a kebab. Absolutely delicious. It was so cheap and makes it a great lunchtime spot.”

Firstly we'd booked for too few and they accommodated us very kindly, food was fast and delicious and our waiter was extremely attentive. I also asked (last minute) for a Tiramisu with a candle in for the birthday host and it was catered for no questions asked. The whole restaurant sang with us, and we were given free limoncello shots for the table (11 of us), and an additional free tiramisu. Was such a fun evening and we felt so welcome. Thank you!!”
