“Visited Gloria in Shoreditch for World Pasta Day and it was absolutely fantastic! The truffle fettuccine was rich, creamy and full of flavour and definitely the highlight of the night. The parmigiana was also delicious and perfectly cooked. The starters were lovely, and the cocktails were top-notch too. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Such a great vibe overall and I can’t wait to come back!”

“Went to Eat Beirut in London with family and shared the set meal for 2 and set meal for 4. It ended up being a great choice — loads of fresh dips, crispy falafel, tasty salads, and plenty of grilled meats and veggie dishes to pass around. Everything was well-seasoned and generous, so we were happily picking at plates the whole time. The vibe was relaxed, the food was great value, and the staff were genuinely helpful and kind — big shout-out to them for making the whole experience even better. Overall, it was a fun, easy meal with solid Lebanese flavours, and I’d definitely go back.”

“Truly a gem of a restaurant! The owner is so nice and really made you feel like a part of the family. It’s such a cozy place. Moreover, the food was excellent. We ordered the hummus, chicken and lamb grill mix, mint tea and knafeh. Everything was very flavorful from the veg to the meat. The hummus was fresh and thick. The main grill mix came with a lovely assortment of pickled veg and fresh veg. Along with the meat, it was well spiced and balanced. The knafeh and fresh mint tea were the perfect warm end to the meal! Definitely go!! We can’t wait to come back!”

“I visited Aetos Taverna as I would always walk past it and wanted to try it. I love Greek cuisine and it is fair to say that it did not disappoint me at all. The food was full of flavour and the portions are very generous. I often come here with family to enjoy dinner or lunch. “Went Sunday night and it was quiet inside but the food did not disappoint at all. This will now become my goto Turkish even though I live close to yaprak in eastcote I think this is worth the 20 minute drive for the better food. Price is similar. I thought the seasoning and quality of the meat was better. Next time I am bringing my kids to see what they think but I think they will agree”

“I love the wraps for lunch and the a la carte menu is great for the evenings. Unpretentious, good quality food that feels like it’s homemade. The owner is lovely and the restaurant is clean. “The last time I enjoyed authentic Satay Chicken, cooked to perfection on a charcoal BBQ with proper peanut sauce, was at Satay Corner, a delightful Hawker Centre in Singapore. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely husband and wife team, and our waitress, Tara, was outstanding. They made us feel like part of the family, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing with energy. We started with every Satay skewer on the menu - the sambal and peanut sauce were absolutely incredible! We then had the curries and their fried fish, finishing off with banana fritters for dessert. Wow, wow, wow! I will definitely be visiting again. It's wonderful to have an authentic Balinese restaurant right on our doorstep, offering a taste of something epic and local, without needing to venture into London.”

“Little gem in Crystal Palace. I'm glad we walked in. It's homey and simple decorated but pleasant. Food is very fresh and delicious. Service is the way it used to be: caring and making up for any mistake in the proper old fashion. Owner is a wonderful gentleman that really cared for his business and goes the extra mile to please and make you happy. My complain lately in most of restaurants is the amount of spicy food, even in Mediterranean food (not so much used in it). There is still a large population who doesn't like or can't eat spicy food (not even black pepper!) Better on the side instead of in the food. Anyhow, it was a wonderful experience. “I just ordered a chicken dish but received 4 great complimentary dishes. There was some fresh bread, caramelized onions, spiced sliced onions and a huge salad. The chicken was nicely grilled and served in a yogurt sauce with aubergine. It was a great combination!”
