“This was the first time I’ve had a proper Vietnamese Pho. Everything about the meal was fantastic! Flavours, textures, fresh ingredients. Best of all, all the chicken in the menu is halal. The portions were generous, and I left feeling full & satisfied rather than bloated and sluggish. I had the lemongrass chicken, the spicy chicken pho and the coconut milk & red bean drink. I had the chicken liver to start, followed by lamb chops and ribs. The liver was super tasty, and the chops were so tender they just melted in my mouth. “Absolutely loved this place! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was hands down one of the best Indian meals we’ve had in ages. Everything was packed with flavour, and the prices were very reasonable. A huge bonus, it’s dog friendly! “I’ve been coming here for near 40 years! The place recently celebrated their 46th birthday and suddenly made me feel old! An absolute institution. I was lucky to visit way back when it was just 1-2 small rooms and my parents treated to us to this incredible restaurant when we were younger and have continued to visit since! They had been coming since just after it opened and it was once fo the best Thai restaurants you could find! After years of uni and now living over seas it’s on the list every time I come home. Made even more special by some of the staff remembering me including the boss! A true sign of a spectacular restaurant where hospitality is at the heart of its success.
