“Walked into this gaff not knowing what to expect and ended up thinking I’d stumbled into one of them proper boozers we all used to haunt before everyone got obsessed with artisan lager and reclaimed wood tables. This place is the real deal. Big, roomy, clean as a whistle and full of the sort of decent people who look like they know how to enjoy themselves without turning the whole place into a circus. I drifted in quiet as a ghost, keeping myself to myself, the way a man does when he just wants a peaceful pint without getting dragged into a three-hour chat about football transfers. Early afternoon, hardly a soul about. Even the barman gave me that look you give a fella you’re not entirely sure walked in through the door or just materialised beside the pumps. Perfect. Just how I like it. Once you take it all in, you realise the place has that old-school charm you can’t build from scratch. It feels like the sort of joint where blokes in the early 90s would crowd round the fruit machine, give each other dodgy betting tips and swear blind they were going home after “one more”. There’s space everywhere you turn. No shoulder-barging. No squeezing past people like you're on the Tube at rush hour. Just room to sit, think, sip and breathe. The beer garden is a treat as well. Plenty of spots for whatever mood you’re in. Out with mates, catching up over a round? Sorted. Want somewhere quiet to park yourself and stare meaningfully into your pint like you’re the troubled side character in a gritty ITV drama? Also sorted. Hayes did not disappoint on that front. First time visiting Hayes and if this is the standard of their pubs then I must have been living under a rock. I’ll be back, pint in hand, probably still lurking in that same quiet corner wondering where this place has been all my life.”

“We sat out in the garden to have some great food, the mixed grill sizzler was one of the best and the lamb Karahi was really good, full of tomatoes and flavour! Went the next day too!”

“Extremely nice staff, wonderful and caring service. Lovely calm atmosphere for an enjoyable and tasty breakfast and lunch at low cost but never compromising on high quality food. Try for yourself ...trust me you will never be disappointed. Staff are very lovely and caring to their disabled customers especially who struggle to go out alone. But here the staff help you to relax and never judge you.”

“Authentic, flavoursome food here. Everything was cooked hot and fresh and was spiced to perfection. King mixed grill was the right size portion for 3 of us. Gobi manchurian was crispy and not drenched in sauce. Plenty of parking for a mid afternoon visit but I can imagine this place gets busy in the evenings. Good selection of beers on tap. Will be back here soon...”

“We were arranged by the British Airways as our flight was delayed. We arrived at check in counter at about 6:00 pm, all the check in process is smooth and efficient, the staff is nice to gave us the meals coupons and recommended us to take the right time shuttle bus to airport in order to catch the flight tomorrow morning. The hotel renovation is fair, the decoration hanging on the wall of the corridor is unique. The room is clean and spacious, bed & the quilting is comfy, environment is quiet. There have fridge, kettle & the shower have great water pressure, the only thing I concern is the hair dryer is so poor. The experience over all for us is very good and we will recommend this hotel to my friends.”

“A lovely cafe right by the river and London Bridge station. You can sit outside under cover in the archways at Hays Galleria which is lovely. We had the burrata and pulled lamb wedges to start - and the lamb was incredible! We then had the seafood pasta and bacon, pistachio and onion linguine and loved the combo of flavours. The red velvet cheesecake is also a must order - it was so delicious! We really enjoyed all the food, the great service and the atmosphere.”

“Couldn't fault the rooms. Rooms are massive especially the disabled ones... with mum having MS. Staff friendly service and brought mum extra blanket... The one downside the duvets could be alittle more warmer.... Reason for the 2 stars the location. If staying in london for more than a week and no transport its a problem as its right near healthrow airport. But thankfully the coach is within the bungle to london on the hols!”

“Not only was the check-in process speedy and helpful (because the hotel employee made some specific accommodations for our stay), but the room exceeded expectations on all accounts. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. We would definitely stay here again and we appreciated all courtesies that were shown to us by the hotel staff.”

“Doesn’t look like much but best curry I’ve had. They are also super friendly in here. People just chat to you it’s really nice and such a change from the norm for me coming from central. Cheap as chips here for drinks too you get change from a tenner for two pints!”

“Very kool punjabi indian themed restaurant . As by name it goes feels like a pind (punjab village) which seves authentic and scrumptious punjabi food in hayes. This BYOB restaurant, so don't forget to carry your own poison. The owner and staff are very polite and give their attention to your comfort and service. Must visit”

“Our group stayed here for 4 nights and we have very smooth stay. Maria ( group booking manager) is just awesome as she helps a lot. She make our stay n go behond to help us on every steps. My all group is happy with the stay. Breakfast is nice n staff Ranjita and Dibbya is very good and ready to help us. Jose at front desk is cherry on top and so as bar guy. Overall we all are happy with the service and our stay.”
