“Visited this pub for lunch yesterday with a 4 day old baby - the two ladies serving were very welcoming and friendly. Table service was great from the moment we sat down and after scouring the menu, we both ordered the New Inn Burger - 5* burger in my opinion, the quality of meat and the cook was excellent. “I loved the atmosphere of this pub. I was there last Sunday to try the Sunday roast. When I arrived, it was almost impossible to get a table as the place was packed, but the staff were very friendly and quickly found a spot for my wife and me. When we placed our food order, we were told it would take around 20 minutes because many tables were ordering at the same time. I went for the pork belly, and my wife chose the roast beef. We were pleasantly surprised when the food arrived much faster than expected , the portions were generous, and everything was absolutely delicious. I must also highlight the gravy and apple sauce, which was fantastic. I’ll definitely be going back with family and friends!”

“Absolutely beautiful pub! From the stunning wooden beamed exterior, to the quaint delightful interior, the Blackhorse, is exactly how a pub ought be. The menu options are fantastic, with options for kids and adults alike. So something for everyone - even fussy kids! I love visiting the Blackhorse, with my partner and teenage kids, and we always have a wonderful time, and have created some amazing memories there over the years. I look forward to creating many more memorable moments at the Blackhorse.”

“Enjoyed my breakfast here. Four or five other guests were present, so not too busy first thing on a Monday morning. My black coffee was great, although a little expensive if I'm honest. My full English was nicely presented and tasted good. Overall it was very filling. I'd certainly recommend this place if you're passing through the High St area of Tunbridge Wells.”

“Cannot recommend this place enough. The three of us had planned to get our own dishes and just share a couple, but everything was so amazing we had to try it all. The Tabouleh and Fattoush salads were unreal, the falafel was the best I’d ever had, and the hummus Beiruty was lovely. The whole meal all we talked about was about amazing the food was. We also had a large glass of house wine each and ended with espresso martinis, alongside our 7 dishes, for just under £30 each!!! AND they bought us free baklava to end the meal. Amazing value, especially in London. The staff were lovely and the service was prompt. It was so good we even went back for takeaway the next day. I could live off your food!!”

Really love the variety of food and snacks available on the menu. They cater from meat to seafood and veggie options. I was really impressed with the cauliflower and leek croquettes, really tasty (this is coming from a person who isn't a fan of cauliflower) and the truffle honey chicken wings were amazing. Slightly disappointed with the falafel as it was a bit too salty. The pork belly was well presented and generous portion size for a main. Slightly chewy. Had a taste of the baby squid, that was delicious and well quicked and also the lamb skewers I recommend.”

We stopped in for a cheeky pint and ended up staying just for the hilarious conversation. Exactly as a good English pub should be. Highly recommended!”
