“Came for a quick drink, came here a few years ago and really liked it, still a great place. Went on a Sunday lunchtime, not the best time because it was packed. Didn't stay to eat but if you do want to then I recommend booking in advance if they take reservations. We sat outside which was fine since it was a nice day. Friendly, welcoming and helpful service from the gent behind the bar (possibly the manager/owner). Very family orientated feel to the place. Very cosy inside. Good choice of drinks at reasonable prices.”

“I didn’t have food but everyone food looked great. I enjoyed two espresso martinis at the bar and they were amazing, I asked for extra sweet and they did not disappoint. “This little gem was an amazing find Hosted a Baby Shower here on Saturday and cannot express how accommodating The staff were. Dan was very flexible and encouraged us to decorate, provide a playlist that he played through the function room sound system, he allowed us to go in early before the booking to decorate too. There is plenty room for a sit down occasion or a full disco/dj party. A back door leads out to the garden and a separate area too. The room has plenty of sockets and a bar, buffet food is an option too. Had an amazing time and everyone complimented on the venue and how quaint, country-feel yet quirky it was. Perfect, Thank you !”

There was a fantastic variety, and it was all so well received by our guests—it disappeared in no time! “Father's Day lunch here today. Through no fault of their own they were understaffed but the team did a fantastic job of picking up the slack and looking after their customers. I had a lot of specific asks and requests and Elle did a great job in fulfilling them. Communication from booking to the event itself was great. On the day Elle pre-empted all our needs, the chef was great, food was lovely and the service from the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back for the next big celebration!”
