“Air con broke down on way to Devon during heat wave. Local shop told me there was a leak in the system and couldn't be fixed in time for my departure. We have toddler and no air con in this heat was inconceivable. Called Caroline at Paynes Cars on our way home and from the first word she was absolutely awesome, helpful and knowledgeable. She squeezed me in for an assessment on the same day and everything was sorted in a giffy. There was no leak and the car is blissfully cool again. Can't thank the team at Paynes Cars enough. “Repaired a flat in well under an hour from the initial inquiry to returning my car keys. Their speediness was especially helpful on the day because I needed to get on the road ASAP to attend a funeral. The guy who served me (I didn't catch his name sadly) was really helpful even though he was on his own that day, and even gave me a complimentary bag for my locking wheel nut which was a nice touch. Would definitely use them again.”
