I contacted Ben a few weeks ago with an issue I had with my parking brake. What started out as a small issue turned out to be a huge job as we discovered more and more bits that needed doing. This issue took multiple attempts to fix with different hiccups along the way but he kept at it and got it resolved. Having watched him work I can say with certainty that he is very knowledgeable and is keen to carry out the work to a perfect standard rather than rush and do the bare minimum. Throughout all my interactions with him he was pleasant and polite and acknowledged all my needs and concerns. It is genuinely difficult to find such an honest, hardworking and knowledgeable mechanic these days and from now on I will be contacting Ben with no hesitation when I need any work to be done for my car.”

“I came into Halfords about 20 minutes before closing time looking for a headlight bulb. A team member kindly asked if I needed any assistance, and John came over twice to check in and help me find exactly what I needed. He was very helpful and professional. Once I’d picked out the bulb, John asked if I’d like it fitted, and he quickly arranged for another gentleman to do it. As soon as I stepped outside, the gentleman kindly asked if it was about the headlight and fitted it in no time! I was out in less than 10 minutes. I forgot to give him the code to switch off the air suspension when I left the car so he couldn't put it on the ramp but he didn't complain when I returned and completed the tyre change quickly, put everything away tidily and even checked all the tyre pressures. “Hands down the best bodyworks service I have ever received! I had some damage on my car and found Darren's garage very local to me. He inspected the damage and explained thoroughly in detail the process that would be involved in the repairs - his passion for this work is very evident to see. Even with his busy schedule, he was able to pencil me in at short notice and I received the car back looking brand new the same day. He even kindly touched up some other areas of my car that had some scuffs. The photo updates during the day showing the progress of the work were also a nice touch! “This is a great garage I can't recommend it enough, especially for woman, these guys won't speak to you like u don't have a clue about cars and they won't take you for a ride! I moved to the area and I noticed my car water tank was low, I took it over and they inspected it and showed me the problem. I took it in the next day and my car was sorted. (8months ago) They are very approachable, polite and friendly. Took my car for a service today and again I can't fault them, done a brilliant job, car is back running smoothly, very reasonably priced and you can tell they don't just do things to get more money out of you.
