“OMG!! We had the best Lego themed party for 7 years old. Luke deserves more than 5 stars… excellent communication, arrived early,very flexible, and super energetic. The kids were tired (in a good way) in the first hour with lots of active games outside, but also enjoyed creating Lego objects and sharing their ideas to friends. No wonder why Lucas gets outstanding feedbacks!! I would choose Brilliant birthdays again, their responses were very friendly and prompt. Thank you so much”

The storyline was really engaging and the room design was top-notch — you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. Ollie was absolutely fantastic – helpful, supportive, incredibly kind and patient from start to finish. He made the whole experience even more enjoyable and fun. “We went there to see "as December falls". I will be honest, I'm in my late 40's and went mainly to support my youngest (20). I can honestly say I really enjoyed myself, it had the vibe of a rock/metal gig venue from 25-30 years ago, everyone looking out for each other, but with a modern twist, a new generation following the old school values of doing their best to just love the music and doing all the can to help others enjoy it too. The other thing that struck me is the price of drinks, here in Surrey we are sadly used to being hammered by drink prices, and I fully expected the drinks to be on the he pricey side, especially as we were a captive audience, that had choice but pay the prices they charged. The date was the 15/08/2025 and 2 single vodkas with cranberry came to £11 (something). I have paid a lot more in places I have enjoy far less in the area. Finally, without going into detail, we had some additional needs, we needed a chair for the gig part, and honestly it was no trouble, we told one person at the bar, I didn't catch his name, but but the time we got into the gig part, all the staff knew, and were descreetly on hand if needed Thanks to all the staff at the fighting cocks, those at banquet records who ran the music part, and to As December Falls for a brilliant albeit hot and sticky night”

“My girlfriend and I decided to get tattoos while on vacation. Stopped in the Crystal Palace location and was greeted immediately. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Our Artists Eddy did a great job. He listened to what we wanted and when we came back to our appointment had great options for us to choose from. The design for my tattoo had much more detail than the initial draft. When he began to run over the time he quoted he told me I would not be charged extra. As time continued to pass he did not rush. Towards the end he even added in a few more small details and finishing touches to make it better. Through everything he was nice and very easy to talk to. His attention to detail and dedication to his art and clients is top notch. In the end I got much more than I paid for and left with amazing art. Definitely would recommend this shop if you are in the area and looking for great work in a comfortable atmosphere.”

“We had dinner and tried a few drinks from the new cocktail menu—they were absolutely delicious. The mixed platter for two was fantastic; the meat was simply cooked but packed with incredible flavor. We also enjoyed the homemade tzatziki, Caesar salad, and one of their signature soups, which was outstanding. The service was excellent, full of smiles and warmth. Highly recommended, especially for parties, as they have a spacious room downstairs!”

“This was the best Italian food I've ever had. The bread was so soft and savory, the cheese was so nutty and flavorful, and the olives were the best olives I've ever had, taste and texture. And that's just the Starters! The stuffed pasta was incredible and the fish tasted amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful accommodating our 10 month old with a personal chair and extra care. He loved the mushroom soup! Incredible experience overall. A bit on the very expensive side.”

“Our family booked The Hammer In Hand for a wake yesterday. Staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Prices were extremely reasonable and the food served was fresh with a great variety of rolls. The whole day was made so much easier with the great service we received from everyone there. Thank you. “We just had my son’s 9th birthday here and it was great! So many things to do, the kids loved it! Fahad was our party organiser and he was lovely. He made sure it went really smoothly and helped us with the food and timings. Really polite staff. We were in the fantasy room with the tree chair and the kids loved it. Very easy on the 58 bus from Leyton. The 11am party slot was not at all busy and I found it pretty clean actually! Thanks again Fahad, you were brilliant!”

“One of the best spots in the area for breakfast! The food was great, and the service was beyond friendly. I had the Big Breakfast and asked to swap out the tomato and mushroom — no issues at all, which was much appreciated. Prices were very reasonable, especially for breakfast in London. Would definitely come back!”

She said we have both then she asked is it because you don't eat pork i said yes she then said unfortunately it's cooked in the same oil. “great place to dine with friends. lovely atmosphere. the staff are friendly and knowledgeable with their recommendations. you can literally go there and ask the staff what they would recommend and not even have to look at the menu. Nadim was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of, and even helped us with the birthday surprise. we also had to suddenly leave quickly toward the end of the dinner and they were efficient in helping us settle quickly. to each their own on whether it is expensive or not; we spent roughly £1400 for 4 people”

“We came for the Christmas doggy afternoon tea and it did not disappoint. Each dog had their own tower of homemade goodies and even a toy each. The offerings for the humans was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was delightful. Definitely recommend”

The restaurant is decorated nicely and is very clean. The service was fantastic and the gentleman that served us was extremely helpful, friendly, polite and professional. “Excellent crispy pizzas. If you like pizzas such as those from Pizza Union (i.e. crispy ones), you'll love those from Pizza Squad as they have a similar style with more and better ingredients! That's surely why it is a bit pricier and well worth the extra quids. I enjoyed the Ham pizza best, the Octopus one was good as well and interesting but not as good as the Ham one. Very easy to order so you can pick up on your way home. Plus they are very friendly. Overall, if you like delicious crispy pizza, then look no further.”

“Mr Ruffles had come recommended and so we booked him with a Super hero theme for our son’s 4th party and our expectations were surpassed. All of the children (and adults!) loved the entertainment. Mr Ruffles was engaging, comical and full of energy keeping the children entertained for the full 2.5 hour booking with dancing, magic, activities and more. Our son can be quite shy at parties but Mr Ruffles had him engaged and participating with joy and delight from start to finish. Wed book Mr Ruffles again in a heart beat.”
