“It's nice that Croydon has this cinema. It's a real asset for a town centre that is being decimated at every turn. It's unique in that it's tucked away, even though it's in the very centre, just by the Town Hall. With just 65 seats, it's very independent-minded, with a screening more or less daily. The staff really want to assist. I shall definitely return.”

“Me and my friend came into the cafe for breakfast, not expecting it to be any more than a greasy spoon. We were so pleasantly surprised to find such a gem. The place itself is big and modern and very clean. The staff were so polite and helpful and the food was yummy and very reasonably priced. I will be becoming a real regular here.”

“Visited a couple of times since restrictions were lifted. Very professional service with staff attending tables to take orders regularly. Definitely London pricing, cocktails will set you back £9.50+ a pop but they are delicious and pack a punch. And the food!!!...I had the hake, partner had the bone marrow burger - I have not had food that good since the Michelin starred Albert's Table closed down. Outstanding! You do need to book in advance and you only get 2 hrs per booking per day. Not all tables have heaters but vast majority do and 90% of tables are covered. On our 2nd visit the heater above our table wasn't working which was a shame because we would have stayed longer if it had been. A must visit for cocktail lovers and foodies alike.”

“Lovely spot for a Sunday Roast. Took the Misses and some mates here a few weeks ago and the grub was very good and very reasonably priced too. One of the best roast spuds I've had in a pub. Guinness was up there with some of the better pints I've had. Not a massive fan of the inside of the pub, bit like a sports club I prefer more of a dirty old mans boozer, but it has a cracking beer garden for the sunny days. I'd return for a summers sesh on the ciders.”

“GO TO BABYNEST! We went in yesterday for advice on getting a replacement car seat. We were bowled over by Chloe’s knowledge and expertise, and just how friendly and helpful she was without ever being pushy. She helped us fit our new seat and even came back out after I’d fed the baby to check she was safely seated. Just amazing customer service. Babynest specialize in larger items like car seats, cots and prams - HUGE range - but has the Stokke Tripp Trapp and accessories too. I wish they also sold weaning things and clothes as would be in there all the time! If you are expecting though - go here!! Thank you Babynest!”

“I’ve been shopping at Budwalls since a teenager. Admittedly I only get in there once or a twice year these days, but it’s always the same pleasant experience. They offer a very personal service and their prices aren’t too bad either. Good to see their doors still open after all these years. All the best boys.”

“I love coming here. I order an egg, bacon and sausage roll with ketchup every time I come. The roll is always soft and the filling is cooked to perfection. Best cafe in Croydon. The chef is an absolute joy. Good food and great people - what more could you ask for? If I could give 1 million stars out of 10, I would.”

“I jumped on the bus going the wrong way to get home from ASDA . When I and the wife jumped off to head the right direction we decided to grab a bite when we saw the Plough. They were only serving Sunday Roast and I am extremely glad . I would have hated to have ordered something else and missed this great dish! Being from Texas there is a certain expectation when it come to cooked beef and this roast didn’t disappoint but you will pay for it. It’s a bit pricey for only 1 piece of beef but the quality was outstanding. I will return for more!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Our local pub. We are not regulars but came here quite a few times with our baby son and with friends. Beer is always great, staff is lovely. Haven’t had a chance to try to food yet but will do soon. It’s dog friendly too (it has two beer gardens). We do grief the vivid blue colour. It was such a nice vibe. The white is quite ordinary.”

It is always refreshing when you speak to someone who seems genuinely interested in what you have to say and listens? I would not hesitate in recommending your Company to anyone who wants their car repaired. The workmanship is first class and the office staff that you would be liaising with throughout your car repair are simply excellent. “I've only ever had my beard done here so can't comment on the haircuts. My facial hair is kept in tip top condition and I'm a happy repeat customer. The barbers in there are friendly and willing to chat. But something I really wanted to shout out was when I once saw a customer in there with mental disabilities. They didn't just accommodate him, but rather they were actively warm and friendly and tried to keep him engaged through his haircut. THAT'S when they won my permanent business. It gets really busy in here so you're best off either making an appointment or going in at off peak times. Also, there's a stamp card scheme (9th haircut is free).”
