“Only one night before Twickenham rugby. It is only 35 minutes from the ground. Parking an issue but we parked free on station carpark after 6 and before 8 It is 5 minute walk. Wetherspoons 5 minute walk up road for food and pint. Room was hot, shower was hot. Decaf ☕ free in room tasty enough. Lots of towels. Quiet night.”

“Walked in late lunch. Ordered bacon and egg soft bap. After debating which bread I wanted roll, sandwich or soft bap. Has got to be one of the best and reasonably priced lunch break for a long time. Staff very friendly and willing to help. And will literally go out of their way to accommodate if possible. Amazing service and food”

“Stumbled upon this place when visiting to the area (I've not been to the area before). It's a lovely set up and Tom was really welcoming and friendly. The coffee was amazing and will definitely be going back whenever I visit.”

“Great selection, and having ordered multiple times, I can say that the food is always very good in terms of quality, quantity and value for money. Friendly delivery people too. Only issue I have had (and not just once) is with the timed order function on the website. On one occasion, it arrived 90 minutes early and I had to send it back - we simply weren’t ready because we were in the middle of some DIY (which is why I ordered it for a set time). It’s happened since, albeit not with such an extreme difference between the time for which I requested delivery and the time food arrived. I’ve defaulted to just ordering later in the evening so that the delivery time is broadly the one I’d have chosen if the timed order function could be relied on. Like I say, that is the only gripe - just something of which to be aware if you’re someone that likes to place timed orders.”

“We visited for the first time on 18/12/25, the interior was beautiful with a roaring fire, the staff were attentive, friendly and very welcoming. We had the Turkey pie to share, full of meat, with excellent pastry! We had the chocolate yuke log dessert which was phenomenal! We will be going back as it was a lovely experience.”

“A recommended choice if you look for good food, often with a twist to keep it interesting. Highlight for us were the muscles, fish, pumpkin stuffed pasta, the very low alcohol beer and deserts. But I would trust the chef with anything. Everything was cooked on point. The staff was lovely and happy to ensure we were comfortable and looked after. We spend a bit more on drinks however the meal prices were entirely worth the price and reasonable. A real food highlight for the area and definitely the choice for bringing guests. “Popped by today for an hour or so and enjoyed a few drinks with my family in the beer garden, plus some ice cream! A lovely pub, staff seemed very nice too even though it was hot and they were bringing out lots of food to customers. Toilets were clean, plenty of parking out the front and side plus a car charger which is convenient.”

“One of the best pork belly dishes I've ever had! This was my first visit, and I was very impressed with the service, food quality, staff attentiveness, and overall atmosphere. We went there for Sunday roast, and I can honestly say that I will drive again two hours just to enjoy their food again. The food and drinks prices were also reasonable. I loved how welcoming the place is and the terrace outside. Thank you and I'm sure I will return.”

“I never do reviews but I can’t thank the staff enough for how accommodating they all were. I stayed with my little brother who has autism and the staff at the front desk ensured he was comfortable when things were a little bit loud in the reception by asking us if we would like to go in the back room. The restaurant staff were also very accommodating to his needs but a man called Marquise who works in the restaurant is a real life angel!! He really went above and beyond for us ensuring my brother had everything he needed and helping me feel comfortable. It can sometimes be nerve wrecking going somewhere new with a child who has special needs, especially one who only eats certain foods but Marquise really really went out of his way to meet my brothers needs whilst also reassuring me that anything I need to please just ask! We need more people like Marquise in this world! If you are a SEN parent or career you know how much of a difference people like him make to your trip. Thank you!!”

“Perfectly located outside Chessington and just off the main road. Rooms were spacious and clean with ample amenities. The restaurant is next door (separate buildings) but only a short walk door to door. Staff were friendly and polite. Would happily stay her again.”

“Really enjoyed Sunday lunch. It was my partners Birthday. Food fabulous so much so we took a doggy bag home for evening dinner. It was slightly cold inside wear a coat but we all need to save on excessive heating bill. Are Lady severer was excellent not sure of name Black Lady very pleasant gave her a cash tip as tip not on bill please do the same if you enjoy..Will we go again yes. As it was a private lunch I will add photos of spare food (doggy bag) & cat on loo. Just been again for Sunday roast food as good as ever 30th April”
