“Cafe Nazar is amazing!! They’ve got great selection of food and everything is top quality. The baklava is one of the best i’ve ever had and you don’t want to stop eating it! It’s even better with their Turkish tea. The lady who works there (I think her name starts with S) has excellent customer service and always makes sure you receive your order at the best standard :)”

“Station Cafe is a nice, simple place to stop for a coffee or quick bite. The staff are friendly, service is quick, and the food is decent with massive portions for the price, They recently started their halal breakfast options too which i popped in for. spot on”

“Very homely cooked food,,, authentic indeed, loved every bite of what we had , started with ross omelette & pav bread along with masala chai and resumed later with goan thali with prawns curry(typical goan homestyle) & my fav kingfish recheado ,,,,the cozyambience and Goan music along with such delicious food just brought me back to my Goa’s old days when I used to work there. One who truly understands the homely cooked goan meal will definitely appreciate their efforts, probably the best Goan meal i ever had in UK. Service was truly welcoming by the lady & gentlman who owns the place (guessing),,,they both were very gentle and welcoming.”

“Only surviving cafe in this area to get a proper English breakfast. Food is good, and I love the atmosphere. Feels like you're in an Eastend soap. Ok, the old lady waitress is bit grumpy sometimes, but I didn't mind her. Took as part of the atmosphere, and respect the fact that they're keeping her for the job. For the negative comment I saw above, 'Not really English, is it.' This is a multicultural town, and I admire them for embracing the local culture and running it while everything local are disappearing. If you're a tourist in a neighbouring hotel, and looking heavy English breakfast I would definitely recommend it. The below meal with the tea costed me £5.60, and I wouldn't be needing food least for another 8 hours.”

“I was introduced to Pavilion by one of my friends. There was serious hype, so I had high, high expectations. I went for the lamb chops and spicy wings (they were the recommended choices). The spicy wings were incredible - super soft and succulent, packed with flavour and a hint of lemon. The garlic mayo sauce complimented them superbly. I could easily devour 21 in one sitting. As for the lamb chops - they were sumptuous. The seasoning was great and it was cooked very well - the meat was juicy and it was easy to chew. It came with a salad and some fries, which was very tasty. I’ve been to this spot over 5 times now, so it’s fair to say there’s good consistency here. I’ve eaten in at every occasion, so that’s my recommendation for freshly cooked food. The staff are super nice and thoughtful. The seating is quite compact and dark, which does dim the experience. The tables could also be a little cleaner. The prices and portions are decent, considering the area. If you’re around west London, especially Heathrow or Cranford or Hounslow ends, you absolutely have to go here for grilled chops and wings. I’ll certainly be returning. 9/10.”

“*Café Venezia in Hounslow is a gem!* Loved their fluffy omelette and toast — great texture and super tasty. The Eggs Benedict was top-notch, perfectly done with delicious hollandaise. The handmade coffee was a highlight, smooth and rich, plus the latte art made it even better ☕️. Service was warm with big smiles and great hospitality in a cozy, inviting space. “Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.”

“All the way from South Africa & just looking for some good food & drink before a long trip back home, I stumbled across Big Smoke Taphouse at London Heathrow Terminal 2 & had the absolute privilege of meeting Savio, the server who knew very well I struggling with the QR Code version menu & was eager to assist me & simplify my order & dining experience. Savio was extremely friendly, helpful & patient as we took our time to go through the hard copy menus & eventually opted for Tex Mex Tacos, Pork Burnt Ends, Some Onion Rings & 2 glasses of wine. I was pleasantly surprised with the bursting flavors of the all the food, especially the smokiness of the pork burnt ends & most especially encountering very bland food in England overall, LOL. “A really nice pub with a great atmosphere and a beautiful garden. The staff were very friendly, so I'm leaving 5 stars. The only downside was that we waited over 40 minutes for chips and samosas, even though it wasn't that busy. But overall, I definitely recommend it!”
