“The Oak is a fantastic Chinese takeaway, I've never been to the restaurant itself but every time I have ordered from them it has been a fast delivery and always a friendly face. The food is exceptional and the portions are quite generous (if you're missing the Hot-Wok that closed on colney hatch lane a few years ago this is a perfect alternative). Overall great food and a lot of different menu options, highly recommend.”

“I ordered food here from Deliveroo and I just had to give a good review. I got the dimsum platter mixed for one which had a great variety. I got a spicy beef ramen which was flavourful and actually spicy! Also the portion size for that was really good too, enough for two. I also had some sesame balls which was a nice sweet treat in the end that wasn’t too sickly sweet. Really good quality food and will definitely buy from here again !!”

“Was looking for a local sushi place that doesn't use mayo in all their sushi and decided to give this place a go after a trip to the cinema. There was plenty of choice and at an affordable price and we opted for the 28 piece maki platter which was more than enough for 2 people and cost £14 The order was made fresh and took 5-10 minutes to prepare. There was a few selection of Japanese grocery goods and snacks and I was happy to see they had sweet soy sauce which I have been unable to find at a good price The sushi was very well made and tasted great There is a minimum spend of £5 to use card”

“Arati is an unassuming restaurant on a side road amongst other restaurants which has a traditional charm about it. Decor is traditional, which provides a great atmosphere compared to more modern clinical decors. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The menu has a wide choice to suit everyone and even a section titled "English"! Food is fresh and cooked to perfection. On street parking only, which is possible on the single yellow lines from 7pm.”

At the end of our meal the chef even came out and greeted each table to ask how everything was which I thought gave such a personal touch & was very appreciated. The atmosphere & vibe was very cozy. “Have eaten in this restaurant a few times always been great. Haven’t been for 4 or 5 years. Visited on Sunday for Sunday set lunch. I didn’t realise they did the traditional roast beef chicken or lamb along with fish dishes. £22.95 for 2 courses. Starters we all had prawn cocktail nicest one almost ever eaten very generous portion size packed with prawns. Roast Beef was delicious potatoes light crispy and fluffy very good horseradish in fact I think it’s the best roast dinner for miles around. Service great. Very impressed why haven’t I come more often I ask myself. Will be back.”
