“What a lovely and amazing place. The dining rooms are as beautiful as the food. Its however more expensive than a Michelin starred restaurant. £394 for 4 of us. So control the drinking! Loved the litre of sicilian lemonade, reminded me of Glastonbury lemonade carts. My only little gripe, was it was winter, I had a long coat, and the host should have taken our coats as there is only a dirt floor and your coat tails trail in the dust. They eventually came to hang it up in their cloakroom”

“This place came highly recommended to me and it did not disappoint! The food is super tasty, very friendly staff and they gave good and honest advise when ordering. Overall the food for me is better then most if not all Indian veg restaurants in the north/northwest London area. I normally travel to Wembley areas for a good Indian veg or dosa place but this restaurant easily bets them all. We ordered Crispy Bhajiya, Chilli Paneer, Pani Puri, Masala Mogo, Paneer Butter Masala, South Indian Thali, Chana Batura, Paneer Fried Rice, Plain Dosa and Bullet Naan. Everything we ordered was spot on and tasted very nice. If I had to say anything negative about the food it was that the Chana was a bit on the hard side, I prefer mines soft, but thats all. I am a meat eater but as far as veg food goes I have not had better even in a meat restaurant. Highly recommended if you are thinking about going!”

“Very excited to have a new Thai place in town, we had to try it out - and it was delicious! Satay was amazing, prawn tempura was great, and the curry and rice was very filling, great flavour. Also, at the restaurant they have a really neat porch area where they hand you the food, contact free. Nice to see that building finally used. Might have to eat-in next time, it’s great. X”

“Got the lamb doner wrap , it was £7.50 but it was HUGE ( the photo shows only half of the wrap after being cut in half). It was pretty good value for money . Update: been loads of time now, had previously given a 4 but I’ve changed it to 5 now. Lamb kofte, doner , rice and chips are tasty.”

“The best calzone I’ve had in the U.K. The food is made very well and served with the best of care. Fabio is brilliant. Fabio greeted me with warmth and Italian affection. Shook my hand and kindly showed me to my table. He offered me a drink of my choice and gave me the depth and breath to choose my meal. Diona has a wonderful warm welcome with a sensational smile. A service that can warm any heart. Diona took very good care of us and made every effort to make us feel comfortable. Topped us up with refreshments and gave us condiments without asking. That’s superb care. Had the best calzone! Loved it. The staff here are kind and everyone is friendly and offers a warm smile to you.”

“Gorgeous buffet style restaurant, but not your average buffet! There is so much choice of starters, soup, pasta sltation, noodles station, mains buffet with 3 or 4 coices including fish and vege options. The dessert table is to die for though, wear elasticated waist!! Have a stroll along the Thames after dinner to get your digestion working! Rexommend for fussy eaters and special occassions. Book well in advance!”

“Fantastic afternoon tea. Having taken a trip up to London it seemed only right to take afternoon tea somewhere different. The Hilton offered a Teddy bears picnic themed menu that looked brilliant on paper. On arrival the very attentive and engaging staff showed us to our table where me my two children found a lovely large Teddy bear each. The bears, promptly named Mr Bear and Harry were joined by the large assortment of freshly made sandwiches (the salmon was very good) followed by some of the best cakes I have had this side of Paris. The attention to detail was fantastic, with chocolate filled mushrooms and chocolate tea cups filled with strawberry mouse were especially good. We couldn't finish it all despite it being so good. The staff kindly offered to box the surviving cakes up and will be enjoyed with a cup of coffee on return home.”

“I went here for my birthday with my whole family. We chose the hotpot which for us was the first time. The staff were soo friendly & helpful. The food choices were huge & they came out with the tray it was soo much. They even helped us choose dips & made them for us they were soo delicious! There was 7 of us ranging from 15 to 87years old & the whole experience was amazing, the soup was soo tasty the meats vegs fish etc with the dips was soo flavourful. I highly recommend this place for first time hotpot goers due to the staff & atmosphere! They were soo friendly really went through everything with us & the amount & quality of food was lovely.”

“Don't let the scrappy entrance and counter put you off, they have a 5 star hygiene rating and the food is decent and generous. I had sweet and sour pork with rice for £6.50, and there was a generous amount of crispy pork in it. Of course it's a bit neon, but that's more to do with customer expectations than anything. Taste is excellent and that's what counts. Staff are pleasant and quick, especially when dealing with rude and demanding customers. He kept calm and courteous, I don't think I would have! I only had a short wait and the food was still hot after a 10 minute walk home. I would recommend and definitely be back. Cash preferred, £15 minimum spend on card.”

“The food was delicious and very fresh. We ordered the Ichi Boat Deluxe, which was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The atmosphere was lovely — quite intimate, with a beautiful view. Our server was excellent — she was attentive and gave us great advice. We’re really looking forward to coming back!”

“Part of my order wasn’t collected by Uber, and although Waitrose staff tried to arrange another delivery, Uber wouldn’t help. We ended up collecting the missing items ourselves, but the team at Waitrose gave us a bunch of tulips as an apology. Such a small gesture made me really happy and turned the situation around. Thank you!”

“Best sushi I ever had. Really deserved 5* Well made, biggest salmon pieces I've ever seen on sushi. Springrolls was delicious too. All together generous potions and prices very well.”
