“I just had my first experience shopping at Loupe, Croydon. What an incredible experience. I was made to feel welcome from the minute I walked in. Janet took time to walk me through the showroom and talk me through a number of watches I wanted to try on which was thoroughly enjoyable. Janet was fantastic and knowledgeable throughout my visit. I also spoke with Oshane who also shared his knowledge on Rolex and Tudor and adjusted the watch I purchased to fit. The team were all welcoming and overall I would say this was an extremely luxurious shopping experience. Other retailers in the watch and jewellery industry could learn from them how it should be done I look forward to my next visit.”

“Had superb vegetarian focaccia (mozzarella, sun-dried tomato, aubergine, olives). Cooked to perfection, crispy outside, melty inside. Generous portion and very reasonable prices. They also sell authentic Italian products - pasta, oils, pasta sauces. Also delicious looking cakes, which I didn't try, as focaccia was substantial! Friendly, helpful staff.”

“Ive been to this wee local pub a few times, always friendly and good banter! Its nice to get away from the hussle an bussle of the high street of croydon tho your only just around the corner.. wee places like this are becoming very rare and in time will eventually be pushed out by other big clubs/pubs doing student nights and cheap drinks night, this pub seems to have a loyal community following and long may it last! Ill definitely be back.”

There's always good music playing rather than trendy Muzak. They have a very talented team of stylists. I take my daughter too and they make her feel like a princess. Highly recommend.”

“Ponte Nuovo has got to be the best Italian in Croydon. A great selection of starters, the bread and oil is so simple yet incredibly moreish, and the main courses are full of flavour and depth. Big big portions. Save space for the deserts, the gigantic profiteroles in a sea of chocolate sauce, the insanely rich tiramisu. Staff are very friendly and speak highly of the italian chef and kitchen staff; a sure sign of a good front of house/back of house team relationship. Service was perfect, meals bought out together and well presented. This is somewhere you bring family for a great dinner. At this time of year it had a good but not overpowering christmas decorative theme. We're going back soon.”

“Best takeaway in Croydon, bar none. I've been a regular customer since the mid 1990s. The wife and I love the combination of special fried rice, sweet and sour pork balls, king prawn curry, fried shredded beef with carrots and prawn crackers. The best set dinner for two is option A.”

“Visited a couple of times since restrictions were lifted. Very professional service with staff attending tables to take orders regularly. Definitely London pricing, cocktails will set you back £9.50+ a pop but they are delicious and pack a punch. And the food!!!...I had the hake, partner had the bone marrow burger - I have not had food that good since the Michelin starred Albert's Table closed down. Outstanding! You do need to book in advance and you only get 2 hrs per booking per day. Not all tables have heaters but vast majority do and 90% of tables are covered. On our 2nd visit the heater above our table wasn't working which was a shame because we would have stayed longer if it had been. A must visit for cocktail lovers and foodies alike.”
