“I've danced with Michael & Jowita for over a year now, all through lockdown on zoom and I've loved every minute. Their classes are fun lively and they cater for everyone's needs from a beginner to more advanced. They break the steps down and by the end of the class we know a small routine. They are such lovely people and very down to earth and would highly recommend being taught by the best. If I lived closer I would attend live classes without about a doubt Feb 2022 - online classes are still continuing and still so much fun every week. You think signing up to a dance class that is what you will get with Michael & Jowita , well you couldn't be so far from the truth!!! We have guest appearances from Rodger The Cat who is cheeky and loves to join in, The Robot Hoover who likes to go for a spin around the dance floor too, whilst creating magical choreography to a fabulous tune and nothing gets Past Michael and Jowita with their High Definition camera to give constructive feedback and just because you are on Zoom and you think he cant see you - well think again lol!!! They are an amazing couple and hope to join them one day for a face to face class”

“I found this dance studio online and went for a trial session this Friday. The venue itself is easy enough to get to via Uber or public transport (a walk to St James Park UG). The people who work there couldn't have been nicer, very welcoming and knowledgeable! I met my dance instructor and we had a short intro discussion about what I'd like to learn / achieve before getting on the dance floor. The space is brilliant and the team are incredibly friendly and hospitable - I have signed up for lessons and would definitely recommend to anyone who wishes to learn. Hot tip for newbies, wear flat shoes.”

“Dilek is the best ballet teacher I’ve ever trained with. She really cares about the individual improvement of all her pupils and pushes you to be the best dancer you can be. The atmosphere she creates at the school and in her classes is friendly, supportive and fun. As an adult ballet dancer, I could not recommend her enough!”

“We booked sessions with captiv8 dance to prepare for a wedding dance at the suggestion of my fiancé. I want massively bothered about it but went along with it. It turned out to be one of the most fun bits of the wedding prep. Oya is such a good teacher, so flexible and so enthusiastic. She doesn't teach you just a routine but how to dance. We found the practice to be an ideal antidote to wedding stress. When it came to the wedding we nailed it, and it felt so good. We even did our dance at home the day later as we missed it. We're planning on doing follow up lessons as we loved it so much!”

She is a brilliant teacher and does this all while keeping the classes organised and running smoothly, seemingly effortlessly! “I’ve been meaning to visit this studio for a while, but after a bad experience at another one near where I live, I held off. I usually take private lessons because the community in my area isn’t very welcoming or diverse (I don’t live in London). One day after work, I realised this studio is only about 15 minutes from my office in London so I decided to stop by for open pole. I’m so glad I did! I met Akila, who was absolutely the sweetest, and all the girls I met that night were so kind and amazing and inspiring and confident. The whole vibe was so positive and welcoming. The studio is pretty af and so is everyone in it! I’ll definitely try to come back for classes but if not, I’ll be here for open pole for sure!”

I was very glad that the teacher was able to run the exam smoothly under a lot of pressure, including some false accusation and childish behaviour from a student during the exam. “I have wanted to do dance classes for all of my adult life and always chickened out due to stage fright/anxiety, fear of being judged and under qualified at even “casual” classes. At the start of this year I pulled the trigger and did some taster sessions at Studio K and never looked back. All the instructors and members are so welcoming and friendly. A variety of levels of fitness and body types (which is refreshing, especially in ballet!) and everyone from people who have never danced to seasoned dancers. It has been a wonderful social experience and chance to be able to indulge in a range of dance styles I never thought I’d be able to do in the same place plus a discovery of others (Waacking is life changing). I only wish I had time to go more often! Thank you Studio K - especially Ginger and Sarah who I normally do classes with. Try out the taster sessions - you won’t regret it!”

“I2D is an amazing studio, great venue, very professional, talented (yet fun) teachers and an inspiring atmosphere! I have joined the studio at the start of the year and have been absolutely enjoying it. There is something for everyone - a genuine interest at perfecting the technique and your progress at Latin classes and social Thursday (Latin and ballroom) classes where you can practice in a friendly, warm environment. Maksym is a great teacher, who clearly loves what he does and very passionate about dancing. He is very patient, creative, incredible at explaining the technique and puts effort in making classes useful to everyone. He helps you challenge yourself without feeling discouraged and makes me always look forward to the next class!”
