Samir went above and beyond our expectations at putting my little boy at ease with lovely communication and so he was happy to have the full haircut inc clippers for the back and sides. “UPDATE: Upon booking my next session i asked the person on the phone if we can make sure to have someone i know and like to do my treatment as i was a bit disappointed last time. She was very nice and reassured me. Later i was called by the office and offered a compensation for the treatment i was unhappy with. (Mind you, i have been with them for years and i have always been on time, kind and respectful) I love this place, they helped me so much with my skin and been going for laser treatment for years. But the fact that each person does it in a different way is not always helpful. The last person was moving the laser so quickly it only flashed on me in every 3rd spot. Now i am more hairy than i was the previous time after 8 weeks... Session wasted pretty much”

“I have never written a google review before. However, I felt compelled to do so because of the exceptional service received by all the staff at Goddard Veterinary in New Addington. This is the first kitten I have had as an adult, and I wanted to give her the best start in life, so I visited 2 vets in my location. I could not believe how I was totally ignored at the first vet I visited. I thought if they could ignore a human, then I didn't know what they would do to my kitten. So I then visited Goddard Veterinary and was so happy how Marie spoke to me and explained everything to me. First impressions really do count! Since then, I registered my kitten, and she has attended there and is now an adult cat. She has been looked after so well. I would like to say a very big thank you to Marie, Liz, Helen, and Paulo for all their hard work and how kind, caring, and professional they have all been. I chose to write this review 22 months after having my first visit in order to give a true perspective of the service I have received so far. I would not hesitate for anyone to choose this vet to look after their pets.”

“This was my third visit to The Kings Head in Sevenoaks within just a couple of months, and there’s a very good reason I keep coming back. I travel all the way from Farnham, which is a 50-mile trip, but it’s absolutely worth it every time. I’d probably go further if they asked nicely. The pub has everything you’d hope for from a proper village pub. The building is beautifully traditional, full of character, and in the summer the garden is a genuinely lovely place to sit and unwind. The staff are consistently excellent, friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in making people feel right at home. There’s also a solid selection of real ales and lagers, which never disappoints. My first visit was at the tail end of summer, when I sat in the garden for lunch and was instantly taken with the place. A couple of weeks later I returned for an evening meal and was so impressed that I decided to relocate our annual family remembrance gathering here. We came as a group of 11 for lunch on Saturday 15th November, and even though the pub was very busy, the service was faultless. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and had a great sense of humour, which is essential when dealing with our lively family. The team here didn’t flinch. Even though the pub was busy, service stayed top-notch and dishes arrived far quicker than I expected. Miracles do happen. All the dishes we ordered arrived promptly, and every one of us commented on the generous portion sizes (a rarity these days!) and the superb quality. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. I had the cod stew with chorizo and crispy kale, which was an absolute standout — beautifully balanced and bursting with flavour, like a little firework display in a bowl. I followed it with an apple crumble and custard, which met the approval of even our most serious crumble connoisseurs. And, to top it all off, the bill was a very pleasant surprise. It’s refreshing to enjoy food and service of this standard without feeling like you’ve been mugged on the way out. The Kings Head is a place I genuinely love. Traditional, welcoming, great food, great staff, and great value. I’ll happily keep making the 50-mile journey, it’s become a firm favourite of mine.”

“We visited Kamsons, Wrythe Lane today for Covid and flu jabs. Excellent service as usual, especially for my son who has a severe learning disability and needs to be welcomed and reassured. The pharmacist and reception went the extra mile for us. Cannot praise them too highly.”

“Went to the doctors surgery on Monday this week. Saw a clinical pharmacist. At the end of the consultation, the clinical pharmacist made a change to my prescription. She left me for a few minutes and went to speak to a doctor to get his approval, to the changes to my prescription. After a few minutes she came back and told me, the doctor has approved the change and prescription would be ready for collection in around 10 minutes. I said I could collect prescription the following day. She said it will take 10 minutes and you can collect it and leave. The time was 3:50pm. I waited till 4:10pm, and went to the till at the Pharmacy and asked if the prescription was ready. Your staff checked on the computer and told me nothing had come over for me yet. Your member of staff kept the computer open, so if my prescription came over, it could be made up straight away. At 4:30pm I told your staff, I was going to leave and collect the prescription another day. Your staff told me to check with the doctor's reception, to see if my prescription was ready. I went to the doctor's reception. The receptionist told me, my prescription had not yet been authorised, and it could take 5 minutes or longer. The time was now 4:40pm, I told the doctor's receptionist. "At 3:50pm a Clinical pharmacist had spoken to a doctor, and the doctor had given the prescription their approval. so why should it take almost an hour to authorise the prescription". The receptionist went away for a couple of minutes and came back and told the prescription was now authorised. I asked her why did it so long, and all the receptionist would say is "it's ready now". I went back to the Pharmacy, and prescription was ready for collection in a few minutes. While I was waiting for the prescription for almost an hour, your 2 members of staff who were working that day, were always polite and helpful to me, they kept checking on the computer to see if my prescription had come over, and they also told me to go and check if my prescription was ready with the doctor's reception. If it wasn't for your staff help, I wouldn't have got my prescription that day. It's shame that some of the other staff in the health centre are not as helpful as your staff. Thanks again to you and all your staff for good service over the years.”
