We will be booking for Sunday Lunch next week.There are a lot of restaurants in Beckenham beginning with the letter P but none of them compare with the service and food at Papilios !”

“We came for a Sunday roast. The food was exceptional, huge portions and lots of options (including multiple veggie options). Decor is beautiful. Service was lovely, staff were very professional. The atmosphere was nice but died a little when the music went off around 8.30pm and it implied that it was time for everyone to leave. Also the 14.5% service charge seems steep for Beckenham.”

“i LOVE this nail bar. i’ve been quite a few times, but moved 200 miles away. i will still get my nails done by them every time i come back to london to see family as it’s perfect every single time. they are always spot on with my idea, no matter how difficult i am. the start of the acrylic and my cuticle is always seamless, which i don’t always get at other nail bars near my new house. prices are always so good as well. couldn’t recommend you all more!”

“Always an excellent meal. I had chicken dupiaza and my wife had a vegetable curry main dish. We shared a special rice and a paratha. Delicious meal and excellent staff. I highly recommend, ten out of ten.”

“The creamiest, most succulent pasta in the south east. Just don’t order the vegan dishes - as they are more flavourless than water I think it was just an unlucky experience, so I’ll be the bigger person and look beyond this unfortunate experience. 5* otherwise”

“Absolutely love this hairdresser! She always cuts my hair exactly how I want, and recently got a balayage that turned out beautifully. Me and my mum come all the time for our hair cuts because she really listens and I trust her to do a great job. We would highly recommend!”

She slotted me in asap, was friendly, explained everything clearly and made me feel so welcome. “Had a meal here recently to celebrate a birthday with friends and had a pleasant experience. Elegant interiors and friendly staff greeted us and we were led to our table. It was a bit busy but we didn't feel rushed or that the place was bursting. Good wine, delicious hot chocolate and since it was a Sunday afternoon, we decided to get the seafood starter lamb and seafood roast. The food was delicious and elegantly plated and looked like art. The courgette fries were a bit disappointing though as they were soggy and the coating had all vanished so it felt like we were having raw courgette slices. That tiny blip aside, the afternoon went perfect and the cheesecake at the end made it even more memorable.”

“I pop in whenever I’m in Beckenham, usually just for a drink. My last visit was impromptu and decided to have something to eat. What I really like about this place it’s exactly how a pub should be. It’s clean, comfortable with a good selection of drinks. The staff are all so friendly and make you feel welcome. Proper pub food, done really well and exceptional value for money. Great to see a traditional pub still thriving. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone!”

“I have always got my wax done with francy I think not only is the price great but also the experience she’s always friendly and welcoming and I feel very comfortable I think she has amazing skills for a wax it’s the most quickest person that does wax and I’ve done legs armpits above lip eye brows and full Brazilian down there every wax will always hurt obviously but at least with francy it’s a quick well done job definitely recommended coming here”

“I visited Baccarat last week for an overdue hair cut and as always managed to get an appointment at the last moment, you can always rely Baccarat to fit you in and meet your needs, which is very much appreciated as I know they are always busy and popular. As always I was welcomed by warm friendly staff with an happy and relaxed environment and seen to straight away, offered refreshments and taken care of by the staff. I had my hair cut by the fab Marco who is very professional and good at listening to what you want and meeting your needs which results in a great hair cut! I have also experienced haircut by other team members and can say I was very pleased with the results. I can confidently recommend Baccarat team to family, friends and others and give them 5/5 star rating!”

“We visited Yammas Greek Restaurant on Monday 15/12/2025 to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was excellent – fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was delicious and clearly made with care. The service was outstanding. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel very well looked after, which made the celebration even more special. A perfect place for birthdays and special occasions. “Everyone is absolutely wonderful every time I attend. From the door staff to the security they’re very welcoming. Music is also great, it’s a guaranteed good time. Drinks are also reasonably priced too. I’ve never had a bad time here, everyone makes you feel quite welcome. Definitely one to consider if you’re out in the local area.”

“Lisa has been cutting and colouring my hair for 30 years so that says it all. I have naturally curly hair and unlike some hairdressers she listens to the client and takes into account how curly hair will bounce up once it has dried. The salon has a very relaxed feel about it with extremely good prices. All in all I can’t fault it.”
