“I had breakfast here on a busy Saturday. I asked to sit in for a couple of hours whilst my wife, daughter and her friends shopped as a birthday treat. The manager (Nadine) found me a quiet table in the corner with a nearby power supply as I mentioned I wanted to do some work. They genuinely couldn’t have been any more helpful and I didn’t feel any pressure to vacate the table at any point. “Visited late afternoon on Saturday the 8th of March having rung ahead to check availability. Such a lovely place, fantastic homemade,tasty cream tea,fabulous friendly service and beautiful quirky vintage decor topped off with a lovely lady providing an amazingly diverse range of songs on the piano as our soundtrack for the afternoon.I was lucky enough to be given a voucher ( lasts a whole year)as a Xmas present and will definitely be back. “A fantastic little pub in the idyllic village of Eynsford. A smallish outdoor area to the right as you approach and a large area to the rear. Inside the pub is split in two along the lines of what I would think would have been the bar and the lounge. The guvnor was wonderful but took his beers very seriously- kept constant eye contact when he asked what we thought of his beers and listened intently to our answers. The inside was lovely and not overdone like many country inns trying to capture the history of the land. The Guinness was absolutely spot on as was the Harvey's Sussex Best and the Landlord. I think I might go back”

“Had the festive menu and the food took a little longer than expected but Charlee was fab at updating us and ensuring we were comfortable and if we needed anything else. We were sat in the conservatory which was cold and the food took longer than necessary but the food was adequate. Made better only by the millionaires fodue dessert.”
