“Matt & Bev were the perfect hosts. Hospitable, warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The crumpets were divine, the room was absolutely beautiful, and the location could not have been better. Just minutes on foot to the Lloyd Park tram station. I can not rave about this beautiful B&B, or the hosts, enough.”

“Went here last Thursday as heard they did a good quiz night. Had a burger and a couple of pints of Guinness zero; burger was top notch, proper gourmet stuff and we really enjoyed the quiz, we somehow won! Only downside was that it was a bit quiet, probably helped us win the quiz though. Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming.”

“This place is AMAZING. Im staying there at the minute and it was my birthday, my mum mentioned to staff briefly. And unofficially they delivered birthday balloons and a birthday card to my room. The hotel has such an amazing vibe to it for such a cheap price. Theres so many stores nearby, me and my friend went to an asian convenience store nearby! You NEED to come here!”

“Had a great stay at Premier Inn! Ram, our host, made the experience extra special — he surprised us with a bottle of prosecco and chocolates as we were there for a special occasion, which was such a lovely touch. “We stayed here as a couple and really enjoyed it! The room isn’t super modern, but it’s cosy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight for us was definitely the reception — open 24/7 and always so friendly and helpful. Huge thanks to Angie and Kosh for being amazing, they made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. We’d happily stay here again”

“I've had various wraps, the biryani and other dishes from the restaurant on many occasions and it's definitely the best place to get Indian take-away. I think my favourite is the lamb curry but everything is really nice! I don't often publish reviews about food but this is very good. I would highly recommend!”

If they had a better branding and more premium looking street sign, I’m sure the place would attract more customers (they definitely deserve, as the service and food is truly AMAZING!).”

“Visited for the Japanese cheesecake initially and to introduce a friend to this place as they are more local than me. Loved the selection of hot/cold drinks. Sat in even shared a table with other visitors which I thought was so nice and brought back the good times where people actually converse! Carrot cake was divine it was moist and tasty. Was there so long sat to near closing time! The basement has a really nice ambience to it aswell I'd come back again.”

“Just went for the first time and it certainly won’t be my last. It’s an excellent menu, really great options. A good mix of hearty stuff, but nice lighter options too. Meat, fish and veggie options. The place is clean and beautiful, service was spot on and the food was fresh and really well cooked. Absolutely delicious! The prices are really good. Pint of Amstel is £5.50 which is rare these days. The portions were also generous. Can’t wait to go back!”

“We ordered Uber eats today from this place for the first time, and we were really impressed with the food quality and the size of the proportions. Together with the 2 English breakfasts we ordered 2 bacon baguettes, and because they didn't have baguettes bread, they sent it over 2 bacon buns for each one of us, which was very thoughtful and kind of them. “lovely staff and good amount of seating area. i had the cinnamon roll more than once it was very nice! not everyone can perfect the roll but it suited my preference for it well. there’s an upstairs with a lighter environment great for doing work and a downstairs area which is a bit moodier but a nice place to read books just depending on your preference.”

“Le Bon Cafe, a popular spot for breakfast is an unsuspecting Moroccan restaurant which I have been meaning try. Finally went in but didn't try the Moroccan dishes as planned but will revisit again another time. To be fair, the Moroccan menu had a good range of the usual suspects like the tangine, pancakes and briwat. It seems the breakfast is more popular possibly because it is cheaper than the Moroccan dishes. I had the American pancakes with salmon and scrambled egg which was how it should be. It was served stacked which was quite different and the pancakes were thick and soft unlike the supermarket ones which you can buy. Will return for the Moroccan dishes so I can compare it to the ones at Shepherds bush which are a third cheaper.”
