“I really liked this local Turkish restaurant. Food was standard Turkish but well done. Pricing was fair. Service excellent. The reason for the 4 stars for the atmosphere was the noise level. It might just be my bad hearing, but I struggled with the conversation. I recommend this place.”

“Great first time experience. A family of 5 including a year old toddler. Everyone had something to relish. I saw it online after a quick search and I am not disappointed at all. Conscious, friendly and attentive staffs, neat environment and well cooked meals. Spent a little over £100 but we were full to the brim and had to ask for takeaway packs...lol. My family and I would definitely come back. Thank you for the clean service.”

“An Italian style coffee shop. Excellent coffee which is smooth and strong. The cakes are really great and home made. Very reasonable price as well. The lunch options are paninis, sandwiches and salad bowls, plus baked potatoes and priced between £3.50 and £8.50. Cakes £2.90 Coffees around £2-3 with Americano £2.40 and cappuccino £2.70. This is a friendly cafe with outdoor seating and ideal for coffee and cake whilst out shopping or light lunches with friends. A really lovely addition to this fast improving High Street.”

“Great staff who were very welcoming and helpful. Gave us a free appetizer which was delicious. We ordered the kkangpung and chicken katsu udon noodles which were both very tasty and well priced. Would deffinitely recommend and go back. Only issue was my lack of chopstick skills”

“I was there yesterday at a lunch party for my uncle and Aunt’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The food and the service was really wonderful and a credit to the Haven. The food was beautifully presented and served hot. The room was elegantly decorated for 25 guests seated at a long table. Nothing was too much for the staff, I was so impressed. “I visited The Vurger Co for a quick meal after work and the experience has been very positive. I found the place on HappyCow so I knew that it was entirely vegan, which is already amazing. It's located in a shopping mall so it's only takeaway but as it's part of a food hall one can always find a table to seat. The use of technology to order was good & efficient, and the customer service was friendly. My burger was great, fries so so. I will certainly return to The Vurger Co when I happen to be in Canary Wharf again and I would highly recommend it.”

“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

“It's not often you walk into a pub you are not familiar with and feel welcome, there's a real family vibe, very friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed a garden BBQ, hosted by the manager who didn't set any prices just asked for donations to support the pub. I felt this was a great indicator of things to come for this place and I'm looking forward to returning when I'm in the area again.”
