Delicious in Watford

“A lovely tasty takeaway delivered on time by a friendly man. The food was seasoned well and they added the extra chillies (as i had requested) just perfectly. First time we have finished a whole takeaway full nothing was left. The staff had recommended a veg dish and starter and both very tasty just what we needed. Very helpful and patient on the phone. Will certainly keep this restaurant as our only option when in watford. Would have ordered more but will do next time.. Thankyou :)”

“Lovely Indian restaurant with ample parking. They have a decent bar and huge seating area. Food was amazing and they have much choices for your taste buds. Some items on the menu are little pricey, however they are large portions. So, its worth for sharing and families. Service was great and we got our items super quickly. Definitely come back again.”

“Always find that the service here is very quick and efficient. The staff are friendly, professional and polite. This place has a selection of hot and cold drinks to choose from There is a wide variety of cakes and hot and cold sandwiches to choose from. As there is a lot of seating available I never have any difficulty getting a table to sit at. Price wise I would say it is in line with eating at most coffee shops”

“We needed a coffee break from our shopping trip to Watford and noticed a Costa. I must say that My family and I received the most wonderful customer service by Mo Nusly and Roxana. They were both very hardworking and delivered our drinks and food with a smile. We had a few requests and they attended to our every need. They made the coffees to perfection. They have made my day and hope to visit again soon.”

“Stayed 2 nights in twin room. Rooms lovely and clean tea, coffee, kettle etc. Good location to train and bus station easy walking distance and flat. If your going to Harry Potter studios great location to drive or catch bus. Food in pub was fine, and good value for money. Staff are amazing especially Briony. Would stay again.”

“Had a great experience at the Wetherspoon in Watford. The ambience was really nice — welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a casual outing. The food was good and reasonably priced, living up to the Wetherspoon standard. The place was clean throughout, and the washrooms were surprisingly well maintained, which isn’t always the case in busy pubs. Overall, the place is aesthetically pleasing and well looked after. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!”

My printer didnt work anymore so I had to print my shipping label in the shop , she assisted me and been patience also had a good vibe when I spoke to her on the phone. “This was my very first time trying fish & chips in UK. And let me tell you - I WAS AMAZED. Starting from the wonderful older gentleman working the cash register to the cooks in the kitchen. The tar-tar sauce was also wonderful. After receiving my order I had to wait on my friend and in the meantime one of the workers kept me company, telling about the restaurant history and the neighbourhood. AMAZING!!!!”

“Have been coming to cafe hero for some time now and always get the best coffee be it white American (hot milk) , flat white white or mocha served by the lovely Elena and her new members of team Callista who recently has been taking my order and has met all expectations. They are very welcoming, customer friendly and hospitable but above all they serve the best coffee which will not disappoint. Look forward in seeing you both again next week…. “Pretty much ever since this place opened we've been meaning to visit and just never really got round to it. Recently we popped in for a quick lunch during some christmas shopping and my main take home is how annoyed I was at waiting so long to visit! We had a bao and dirty fries meal (with a drink) each - both less than a tenner each and so so good. The bao were fluffy with clearly freshly made ingredients (i had the short rib and my partner the fried chicken), both with portions of dirty fries (i had katsu and she had the vietnamese). The portions of fries alone would have made a meal and were so good. If you want fantastic food, freshly cooked and served quickly, at reasonable prices then I can't recommend this place more. My partner said she was really disappointed that we don't live local enough for somewhere like this to be available on a delivery app. Personally i was quite glad it wasn't close enough as i think we'd end up ordering from them several times a week1”
