“We’ve been in the winter, where the best place to sit is inside by the fire; Spring, where the conservatory is nice, and now outside in the summer. My kids love the mac n cheese- and it’s proper home made food with real ingredients. I had a delicious salad with roasted beetroot and fennel, adding on halloumi cheese. Always so much fun to watch the flying lessons with my girls.”

“We enjoyed our dining experience on Sunday 22 September 2024. Unfortunately, they had run out of the roast beef option (but it WAS 2.30pm) so we settled for scampi and cod. The food is always good here, and the service (although the pub was very busy) was exemplary.”

“Honestly one of the best Kebab places I’ve been to. The chicken was so juicy, the salad was one of the freshest I’ve ever had, the bread and sauces were absolutely perfect. Only the lamb was a little tough but still had so much flavour. Amazing place.”

“Aziza is a Moroccan style Kosher restaurant in Borehamwood which is a really welcome addition to the kosher scene. Meals are inexpensive and tasty, and the hors d'ourvres were really good value. We ate arayes as our starter. The kofta filled pitta was delicious. We followed with the spicy chicken breast which was also tasty, and for £8 was excellent value. Can't comment on deserts though. We skipped these as they didn't look special.”

“Arrived at borehamwood elstree late afternoon after a long drive up from Exeter Devon, we took a walk and found Jenny's cafe, On entry we was greeted with a smile, we enquired if we could still order main meals and yes we could as didn't close till 6pm, l highly recommend the omelette chips peas and salad, absolutely delicious, Clean and tidy environment, great service, Didn't take indoor photos but took from outside the main entrance door”

“I ordered a fish cake in a bun with lettuce cheese and onions and it was very yummy. The gentleman who serve me was very polite and made my order perfectly. Tasted really nice and enjoyed my meal. Thank you X”

“Rutu ( manager ) Shiva ( manager ) very helpful and polite. Excellent knowledge of pizzas and special offers, and went out their way to provide a wonderful experience for myself and daughters when ordering. Food was piping hot, fresh and had more cheese and toppings than other pizza places in the area. We all went for the wonderfully easy on daddies wallet 'MY BOX' selection, which comes with a small pizza ( extremely filling for my daughters) and a selection of either garlic bread or wedges. ( NOTE: the MY BOX is only a collection offer and before 4pm, i get it for my daughter's on a saturday for lunch, before or after their clubs) For me , this is the best pizza outlet in Borehamwood ( just like in the 80's)”

“We arranged to take the whole of Nyftha House at Brecon. It is difficult to express quite how excellent the staff, accommodation, food and of course the guides were. Being an HF novice, what staggered me was the food. From breakfast through to the huge take-away buffet for lunch to a really great evening meal. The manager,Tiffany and her staff were excellent. In fact everything was. There were 34 of us and everyone was impressed. On behalf of all of us, thank you for going that extra mile to make this such a memorable holiday.”

“We came here for dinner with friends and wow it was amazing! They have recently done a refurb and the place looks great. We had some platters to share, finished with chocolate orange tart, and a pear tart - both 10000/10! Would highly recommend. They also have a tv showing the euros (if you wanted to bring someone along who didn’t want to miss a game!) The team were lovely with excellent hospitality”

“Tonight, I decided to take a chicken Tikka biryani, Onion bhajis and a portion of chicken tikka starter. For me, this is comfort food in this cold weather and it was delicious. Almost taste like it was made at home. I definitely will come back to this place.”

“Having just bought a brand new house, my husband and I had been looking everywhere for a nice dining set and matching living room furniture for both the kitchen and for our dining/living room. We came across Oak Furniture Superstore and were really pleased with the choice of furniture available, especially with the amount of different dining and living room pieces required. We anxiously waited for our delivery to all come in to stock and got a courtesy call from the customer service team when they said they would, advising all was now available and that we'd be contacted by the specialist team to arrange a suitable date. We got a courteous call from the specialist delivery team on Tuesday to book delivery for Saturday, and they called an hour beforehand, were very prompt and were extremely polite. They looked after our furniture, wore shoe bags, assembled everything and took rubbish away! We are absolutely over the moon with our kitchen dining set, our dining room set and the occasional and living room furniture we bought, which matches perfectly and fits in around the sofa's we have. The quality of the furniture is Fantastic and has already been complimented on by family and friends. We would never hesitate to recommend Oak Furniture Superstore to friends and family as the quality, service, and price speaks volumes!”

“The mutton lamprais was absolutely delicious and so were the shorteats we tasted - lamb samosas and mutton rolls. The meat in the lamprais was exceptionally good, it was a generous portion and was very flavourful. We appreciate their outstanding customer service and the willingness to go that extra mile to deliver. We highly recommend them.”

“I remembered this as being a not very good 'spoons so was pleasantly surprised. Superb Sunday roast (I had the lamb). Vegetables not overcooked like most places. I followed with the sticky toffee pudding which was gooey and delicious. Excellent food made better by delightful and cheery service. (Till receipt says her name was Connie). Will definitely be back.”

“I have to give 5 stars for this outstanding service... not even the quality of food just the amazing service.. the food was good though.. similar to a lot of kebab takeaways... but what really it for me was when I asked for chillies in the wrap... the kebab man actually took the time to remove the heads of the chillies and chop them up before putting them into the kebab... this was a new experience for me as most places just chuck the whole chilli into the wrap without even removing the heads... Then we asked for larger falafel kebabs and instead of 5 pieces he put 7 in each kebab at no extra charge! And wait.. that’s not all there’s more! My girlfriend was a bit drunk and tried to barter a discount on the Turkish baclava deserts.. and they gave us a pound off! So 2 kebabs, 4 Turkish baclava and a portion of chips, total 15 pounds. Well if you can happily feed two drunk people for a measly 15 pounds then more what can you want from a kebab? I think that’s astonishing. And they weren’t stingy with the sauce either.. plus gave me extra red cabbage as thats my favourite part... For the above reasons I have no choice but to give this place 5 stars. I will definitely be eating there again. Good show.”
