“This place never disappoints warm welcomes from the time you enter. It exceeds all expectations. The Sunday roast was was fresh and delicious, we were served with warm welcomes from friendly staff. The atmosphere and ambiance were spot on, with a great attention to detail throughout. I’d highly recommend it for the Sunday roast or any for any day or to catch up with friends. Will be back soon”

“We popped in today for lunch and were instantly impressed with the decor and atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly, they brought over a bowl of water my dog without even being asked. I ordered the Steak Sandwich and Chips plus a cheeky Pornstar Martini. The food and drink were lovely! Will definitely be returning!”

“Very nice hotel in a splendid location at a lovely part of the River Thames. very clean room with helpful and friendly staff throughout. Large queen size bed in standard room which is still bigger than most equivalent hotel rooms. All facilities are good and function well. restaurant serves throughout the whole day. Excellent stay with location just over half a mile ito the small town of Chertsey with many quaint shops and foodie places.”

“Firstly, I'll start by admitting that I'm am a fairly fussy customer. I've used most of the barbers in the local area over the years and can honestly say that Male Designs is hands down the best I've experienced. They keep up to date with the latest styles so my son is always well looked after. They also have loads of experience with the classics. The team are friendly, accommodating and just generally good people. They are happy to give advice and suggestions on products and styles which might work for you without trying to push expensive products upon you. My dad used Male Designs for years and when he was no longer able to get there unaided we stopped by with his wheelchair (we hadn't even booked ahead). The team rearranged the shop and moved one of the big chairs out of the way to allow him access with his wheelchair. They all took the time to speak/laugh and joke with him like they always had, I could see how much that meant to him. Also the best beard barber I've ever visited. If you're looking for a barber, this is the best in the area. Thank you, keep up the great work.”

“While working in the Chertsey area, I discovered Ohanas Café Bistro and stopped in for a quick breakfast — a decision well worth making. The café offers a welcoming atmosphere with a relaxed, friendly vibe. Service was prompt and efficient, making it an ideal choice for those short on time. I ordered the Eggs Royal and a cappuccino. Both were well-prepared: the eggs perfectly poached, the hollandaise smooth and balanced, and the coffee rich and satisfying. Ohanas Café Bistro is a great find — highly recommended for its quality, service, and atmosphere.”

“Me and my partner were passing through and visited quite late in the evening, the waitress was incredibly pleasant and talked with us while we waited for our food to take away. The food was of good quality and full of flavor. We both had beef stir-frys of different styles. Both were incredibly well made and tasted delicious, highly recommend.”

“Visited last Monday during a week-long stag celebration and wow what a hidden gem! The garlic bread is quite honestly the best we’ve ever tasted and the cocktails were superb - and I think we tried the entire menu between us! Wonderful service, stayed open for us too. We can’t thank you enough, will definitely visit again if in the area!”

“We tried this Lebanese restaurant in Guildford, must say the atmosphere the service & the food is all very good. We tried many dishes, Shrimps, Chicken livers, squid rings, Lebanese spicy sausages, the mixed platter all very cooked very well & was delicious. Would recommend this restaurant.”

“Had a lovely Christmas dinner on Christmas Day , the food was good and loads of meat, bit stingy on the veg but non the less it was good food. HUGE Yorkshire pud. The staff, as always , were amazing so welcoming and friendly , the beer cold and a good selection too. Our stay was only marred by a loud, drunk, loads of money , family who really didn’t give a hoot about anyone but themselves , not The Crowns fault but did mar the event for the other patrons there!, hence 4 stars for atmosphere . We love this venue and will be back many times.”

“We spent our recent wedding anniversary at the Golden Grove and really enjoyed our meal and evening. I totally recommend The Bandit Pizza - amazing light, fluffy, tasty pizza dough (as per the garlic bread) with oozing caramel onion, jalepeneo, pork and beef topping - fantastic! Staff were the best bar staff I have ever met! Live music too and the outside area is perfect! Brilliant pub and restaurant! Treats fot the dog. We'll be back soon. “After seeing some bad reviews here I thought I'd write an honest review. I have ordered fish and chips from harrys chertsey pretty much every week. I have never. I repeat never had any problem with my order. Chips always cooked well not greasy and soggy like suggested in other reviews. Again the fish batter always light and fluffy and cooked properly. As I say I order from them weekly not once had a problem. Also will add the delivery is quick and hot on arrival Don't let the reviews with clear lies put you off, this fish and chip shop is good try a order and judge yourself, you will not regret it if you want fish and chips.”

“One of the best theme parks I've visited so far. Second best in the UK but is home to the best rollercoaster in the UK, Hyperia. It is absolutely amazing, the food is great and the views on and off of the coasters are amazing. My ranking list of the rollercoasters: 1. Hyperia 2. Swarm 3. Stealth 4. Nemesis Inferno 5. Colossus 6. Saw 7. The Walking Dead: The Ride 8. Flying fish. Honourable mentions: Tidal wave (Best water ride in the UK). Detonator. Zodiac. Samurai. Vortex. Rush. I'd definitely recommend the park to any thrill seekers and even if you aren't you should give the coasters and other rides a try.”

“My sunday go-to coffee with my partner. Was served by a young guy at 11.50 sunday 23rd nov who had great customer service. Didn't grab his name but is great at what he does, not making you feel like just another number despite how busy it is.”

“After a lovely dinner, I decided to treat myself to dessert, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding, and it was simply divine. The sponge was moist and warm, soaked in just the right amount of toffee sauce, and topped with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. Every bite was indulgent and comforting – the kind of dessert that makes you smile. It was the perfect way to finish the meal. The pub itself has such a warm and inviting vibe, with a mix of locals and visitors, which makes the whole experience even better. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit”

“We had the pleasure of eating here over 2 days (morning and evening) We were staying at Premier Inn next door due to work. Sharon and Jack could not do enough to make our experience a very pleasant one. Everything done with a smile and a chat. I had the steak and ale pie Monday evening - just WOW! Tuesday evening Katsu chicken - equally as nice. Sharon was on breakfast Tuesday morning and we were met with a smile and a lovely greeting and very nice breakfast. Jackie looked after us yesterday and was lovely and attentive too. Lovely food, brilliant staff great atmosphere.”

“Don't let the negative reviews put you off booking. We really enjoyed our stay in one of the 'Premier Plus' rooms, it was lovely and clean, the bed was comfy and all the staff were really nice and helpful. We ordered breakfast, which is served in the pub (The Winning Post), which is on the side of the building. It was amazing; there was plenty of choice (even as a vegetarian), and the cooked breakfast was made to order. Again, all the Staff were sociable and friendly. We will definitely be back.”
