“Been there at a Friday evening and it was great! Callum was working behind the counter and he was very polite and friendly, great guy! A band set up inside the pub and played some good quality music, nothing too loud and definitely elevating the whole atmosphere. Bonus points for the delicious Brazilian bbq that is being served there during the weekends, at the rear garden. Bottom line, great pub!”

“Had a Sunday evening family meal for 5 of us. We were served and looked after by Mira who did a fantastic job. Very polite and friendly. It seemed the restaurant had more staff on than normal (not sure if they had recruited more), but the staff (especially Mira) were brilliant. Salad bar was always topped up too!”

“A lovely place with a warm welcome. Some truly historic rooms in a very historic building. Buffet breakfast offered. Lots of interesting and quirky places to sit. Lovely garden. On a busy road. Ten pounds to park but plenty of free places nearby.”

“Upon my visit to Woking I popped into Caffe Nero for a Cappuccino. My first visit to this outlet as I usually use my local outlet in Staines-upon-Thames. Tha staff were polite and helpful. I ordered a large cappuccino and a hot chocolate . The hot chocolate was for my wife who commented that she really enjoyed the flavour. My cappuccino was really tasty so a very pleasant place to enjoy a quiet drink .”

“Great screens, sound and public areas, but I only go if they are showing something I can’t use my Cineworld card for as a ticket costs nearly as much as my entire month’s subscription (yes I know Cineworld may be no more very soon). If they offered and unlimited card, I would be there all the time.”

“Held a wake here recently and all the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. We felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The buffet we had was lovely and there was a good range. We were provided with take away boxes for the left overs. Will definitely visit again to try the hot food.”

“Chennai Dosa is one of the best place place if you like South Indian food. Food is very authentic and staff is very polite and respectful. If you are planing to go there ghee roast is on of their best Dosa. Very recommend.”

“I had brackfast here as a non resident of the PremierInn, the venue is nice, you have brackfast upstairs in an old building, the food is cooked to order- which is really unusual for a Beefeater! The staff were 100% friendly, the coffee is good and lots of choice all for £10.99. I will be back! You are right next to the canal and there is plenty of parking!”

“Ordered a takeaway on a Saturday night. The food was great, lots of variety and flavour and hot too! Free delivery and also free poppadoms. Lovely, friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Have also taken advantage of the take your own wine and dine which saves loads on an expensive drinks bill. Try them out, you wont be disappointed and will go back for more!”

“Situated downstairs in the shopping mall food hall, Chopstix is a small outlet with plenty of available seating within the food hall. The woman serving was friendly and polite and showed us the options available. It is very easy to order and there is a limited amount of choice, however what they have seems to be more than adequate. I did not notice any vegetarian options so can’t comment on that. We chose the vegetable noodles, sweet chilli chicken and teriyaki beef with spring rolls. The food was really delicious and full of flavour. The shopping mall has the Victoria Place car parks attached and so there is loads of parking available. We would definitely recommend this eatery and would return if ever in the area”

“Nice to be able to relax after a slow trot around the gardens, which are extensive or to contemplate the challenge ahead if this is your first stop. Good choice of drinks and snacks with ample seating and clean toilets. Decor is traditional canteen messing.”
