“I couldn't imagine a better place for my son and I am so grateful to Joanna and her team of wonderful, kind carers. My son joined Rainbow House at 11 months old at a time when he only wanted to be with his mum and dad. We did a gradual settling in and thanks to JoJos's patience and through various engaging activities and a lot of one to one time they built trust and a great relationship with him. My son loves going to Rainbow House and talks about Jojo and his friends constantly! They do perform miracles - he eats his lunch even on days when he eats nothing at home. At nap time he goes to sleep on his own (since his first full day) even though he has never done this at home once! After two months his vocabulary exploded with words and phrases. They are constantly doing fun activities- playing in the garden, messy play, arts and crafts - each week has a different theme. I would highly recommend Rainbow House, they have exceeded all my expectations. It's a truly magical, happy place!”

“This is the best Goddard's I have come across, friendly and efficient. I moved from Kennington branch as they were quite rude and seemed uninterested. Here everyone is very friendly. Ashley on reception is great and works hard to find an appointment that fits with your own schedule. The dogs even get free treats ! I highly recommend this branch of Goddards.”

“My elderly Father has been taking his beloved cat Bubbles to the PDSA for years but recently has not been very happy with their service & treatment. I suggested Vets at home as I used to take my dog to my local store. As soon as she was on the table & after a little explaining of her symptoms, she was diagnosed, recieved an injection, medication given & suggestions of other products & ideas of things we could try to help her. My Father was so happy & said he felt so at ease as soon as he walked in. We just had a feeling she was going to get the care we have waited months & months to get elsewhere. Thank you Vets at home! “My feisty chinchilla was laid low with tooth problems but after treatment is fit and well. The history taken before the op was thorough and detailed. I was kept informed throughout and meticulously advised on her meds and how to administer. So much care and trouble has been taken every step of the way. I have not, in 20 years of keeping chinchillas, encountered such a high standard of care. Thank you, lovely people :)”

“Our cat unfortunately went missing in March. I had an email out of the blue in July from Parkvets to say she had been handed in along with 6 kittens. She was just about to be neutered when she vanished. We had previously been told by a local vet that she was a he, but that's another story. She had somehow travelled from Lincoln to Sidcup! Parkvets were marvelous. Looking after her and the kittens. Even taking photos and sexing them and weighing. I will be for ever grateful to them for tracking me down and reuniting us. An excellent vets.”

“IMPRESSIVE A LEVEL RESULTS 2019 There were lots smiling faces today at Bancroft’s this morning. After the long 6 weeks wait for this year’s A Level results. We are delighted to report that 65.8% of all A levels taken were graded at either A* or A grade with 85.2% of them at grades A*, A or B. All eleven of the students who held offers from either Oxford or Cambridge have had their places confirmed, with the majority of other pupils achieving the necessary grades for their first choice universities. The main feeling amongst the pupils seemed to be relief that the stress had come to an end and that they can now get on with their summer and their futures. Theva said “I’m just glad it is all over, I can relax now.” Joseph offered some advice for next year’s cohort, “Do something the day before – just take your mind off things. And stay off social media, there are too many rumours about grade boundaries!” Many pupils did better than they had expected; Eloise was celebrating her 3 A*s and place at Bristol, “I’m really shocked. I was busy looking up clearing yesterday and I thought I had been given the wrong results envelope this morning.” Tom shared her joy, “I’ve done way better than I thought. I honestly thought I had failed and didn’t expect to do this well (A*, A, A) so I’m taking up my place for English and History at Sheffield. Caroline said that she resorted to watching Netflix throughout the night as she couldn’t sleep; her fears were unfounded as she achieved the grades needed for her International Business with French degree in Edinburgh. Head Simon Marshall said, “We’d like to congratulate our leavers of 2019 who have achieved impressive results this year. The new reformed, linear A Levels aim to be demanding and challenging, and we are delighted that so many of our leavers have done so well and have obtained places at their chosen universities.”

“Tucked away behind the highstreet, it's easy to miss if you don't know its location. That said, the facilities once you enter the building are very good, catering for all preschool children needs, with adequate staff onsite vs. Number of children ratio. Small secure outside play area on dry days. Pushchair undercover parking area and limited parking for parents that can get congested at times. Overall I well equipped nursery and attentive staff.”

“Great new pickleball courts at Park Sports Chiswick! We felt like pickleball pros. Very friendly staff at a lovely tennis and pickleball centre in leafy Chiswick. Plenty of parking too, if you need it. Then wander the grounds of beautiful Chiswick House after your game.”

“My first squash Club in London, although the squash court floors could do with some upgrades the club and the members are more than welcoming and friendly, and the level of players is very high. I thoroughly love my time in the club so far, very easy to make friends. Really makes you feel at home and wanting to be there everyday just to meet more people.”
