“Hired the place out for my 40th party last weekend and had a blast. I paid extra for a late license which takes music up to about 12, but means you don’t have to exit until around 1 - highly recommend for a bit of flexibility. Price is really reasonable for hire, but also the drinks & food are too. The food was fab, I even brought home some for the next day and it was super tasty. Everyone who attended had a fab time and the staff there on the evening couldn’t do enough to make it a special night! I know family who are local will look to use the venue again.”

“Had dinner the first day. It was so good that we came back for dinner the following day. The chicken biryani portion was generous and the taste of all the spices makes it perfect. On the following day we had the Mutton Karahi. Perfectly cooked, the mutton was tender and slightly spicy. Had it with Briyani rice. Try the Aloo Samosa, really lovely, nice spices on the potatoes. Forget the fancy hotel’s food around the area, this is the real deal, value for money.”

They have the ground floor and the basement floor. Lovely decorations. Lots of vintage pieces. The menu is simple but full of choices. They accommodate for vegans and gluten free. As starters we choose the popcorn chicken and aubergine parmigiana - both were absolutely delicious! And it kept getting better! We had the Pesto and Pancetta pizza and the spaghetti king prawn - great big portions and super delicious! We then had some coffee and the dessert trio and they were all also super amazing! A mix of tiramisu, panna cotta, torta della nonna was absolute heaven! Highly recommend and will most definitely return!”

“The last time I enjoyed authentic Satay Chicken, cooked to perfection on a charcoal BBQ with proper peanut sauce, was at Satay Corner, a delightful Hawker Centre in Singapore. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely husband and wife team, and our waitress, Tara, was outstanding. They made us feel like part of the family, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing with energy. We started with every Satay skewer on the menu - the sambal and peanut sauce were absolutely incredible! We then had the curries and their fried fish, finishing off with banana fritters for dessert. Wow, wow, wow! I will definitely be visiting again. It's wonderful to have an authentic Balinese restaurant right on our doorstep, offering a taste of something epic and local, without needing to venture into London.”

“I went to Bravi Ragazzi in Streatham today with a friend and ordered a Margherita. I always think that the simplest pizza is the true test of a place, and they really delivered. The pizza was amazing. The dough was light and almost sciogliendo in bocca—melting in the mouth. The tomato sauce was fresh and full of flavor, and the pecorino cream on top added just the right touch. It was outstanding. When a Margherita tastes this good, you know they really know what they’re doing. I’ll definitely be back.”
