“A lovely little cafe I came across as being new to the area and on maternity leave. The surrounding park is gorgeous and I often pit stop at Sassis for some iced coffee and a snack :) The owner, Wayne, was super accommodating for my little one’s first birthday and let us reserve a few tables for our family & friends. The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful throughout the day! Food & drink, as always, was great too :) Definitely recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone, we’ll be back again soon!”

“Me and the missus have been twice here with the kids already. Döner is my thing and boy do they know how to prepare those! My wife loves the lamb chops and chicken shish and the kids burgers the first time and pancakes the second. The place is clean, airy and with extremely attentive staff. We'll be coming back guys! Honestly, I enjoy these more than some of the big-name pizza franchises. I purposely go for the mini size so we don’t overeat and can fully savor every bite. “Although we visited with a very large party there was plenty of room for us all to be sat relatively close together! Considering we put in a lot of food and drink orders in a short space of time, the wait wasn’t longer than necessary at all. We had a look at the lunch menu and as soon as we noticed the battered haddock and tartar sandwich, we were sold! The haddock was perfectly cooked and crispy with a decent amount of tartar which complimented perfectly. Our side of fries was also extra yummy and served with wild garlic mayo which was amazing! Somebody else on our table ordered the smoked salmon and cream cheese with many comments of how delicious it was; filled with a generous amount of salmon! Lastly and quite importantly we were very happy to see vegetable crudités and humous on the kids menu, as often it’s easy to order for young children but not necessarily for babies and this was a perfect option. We just asked for cucumber rather than the carrots to stay on the safe side, and they came in perfect slices - great for baby led weaning when out on the go. The humous was lovely and definitely tasted homemade! We will 100% be coming back here again:)”

“Their pizza is very good trust me! And their price is also cheap but the most amazing thing is their wedges is also damn tasty! Their pizza quality and price is affordable . Their food quality is awesome .their pizza dough is very soft and crunchy. We ordered pepperoni pizza and chicken pizza 2 7” inch pizza and wedges (actually wedges were so nicely toasted and tasty that I forget to take that picture and yes if they can up the quantity of wedges then it will be much better.”

“Have spent few hours this morning, had a Sunday coffee by the pond. Very nice and quiet sitting area, staff is lovely and coffee was lovely. There were few tables inside but we sat outside and have a view of ducks in the pond, Church, park across the road and passing by traffic. I would suggest to visit on the weekend morning and enjoy some quality time there...... P.s. on Sunday the parking was free on the road leading to the meusem and tea room. Coffee”

“Lovely Costa, great service and the chicken and bacon toastie is absolutely delicious. It is always busy but seats become empty pretty quickly so it isn't too bad. There are some outside seats too.”
