“Found this place by chance on a walk by and it perfectly suited our small party with teens. We got salads for mains and drinks. Service was friendly and very fast. Food was good quality and it wasn't overpriced. Thank you.”

“Freshest breakfast in Borehamwood! Barracuda is known for lunch and dinner, but their breakfast deserves far more attention. I had the Mediterranean breakfast with sourdough and an iced coffee — perfectly poached eggs, browned halloumi, fresh avocado and spinach, seasoned olives, and grilled tomato. It’s by far the freshest, most balanced breakfast in the area. Most cafés nearby are just average greasy spoons, but this is on a completely different level. If people don’t support places like this, they won’t last — and Borehamwood will only be left with the bland, profit-driven cafés. This breakfast is being overlooked and deserves more people coming in.”

“Great activity for kids. Clean, tidy and lots of fun! Tickets are good value but you have to buy and use their own socks which adds to the cost first time round. Soft play for under 5s and younger jumper section cordoned off from main area which is nice for smaller ones. Cafe didn't open until 9:30am although our ticket was from 9am so spectators or jumpers might have to wait if first in. Other areas include a dodgeball arena, crash pit, basketball trampoline court. Spectators can sit in cafe which is upstairs and good view of whole place.”

“Really great burger, enjoyed much more than five guys or other premium places, I had a triple with bbq sauce. Burgers were perfectly cooked, juicy. Sweet potato fried also great. Will come again when in area”

“We had a pleasant stay at the Ibis hotel, very close to public transport and leisure activity centre. Also a large parking to choose from, so no issue coming here by car. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and a good reception area The rooms were cleaned very well by Gogu and Mariana, so thank you to them. Only beware the bathrooms are rather small, but otherwise would recommend this hotel to anyone considering it.”

“So my daughter has just completed the Agent Hunter experience that was put on for half term in Borehamwood and all I can say is it was absolutely fantastic.She came through the door and asked when can she go again!! Desmond was amazing with comms on email and mobile,the set up was professional and my girl really felt like she was a secret agent solving the puzzles!!!!! The weather was shockingly bad but it didnt deter at all from the amount of fun she had.........even her Dad had a great time.I think this set up is not only amazing for the kids but could be used for team building,birthdays etc especially with the current Covid restrictions.An absolute gem of an experience - if you are lucky enough to get the opportunity to take part grab it with both hands.A massive thank you to those involved and we look forward to the next time.”

“The Function band were part of our wedding day a few months ago. Honestly, we had the best day ever, they were simply incredible from start to finish!!! Every single guest was up on the dance floor all night long, and we just didn’t want the music to end. The energy, the talent, and the atmosphere they created was just amazing. Massive thanks to this amazing band. We loved every minute and couldn’t recommend them highly enough!!!”

The food was very good, we had a Groupon for the afternoon tea and it's one of the best we've been to, I especially liked the salmon tataki sandwiches and the cheesecake, definitely recommend. Came back again for dinner and we had small plates, all of them were great. Especially liked the mushroom arancini and the crispy salmon tacos. The chicken bao bun was amazing too, would suggest if the bao could make 2 smaller ones instead of one large then easier to share.”

“We came down here tonight, and had the tasting menu from the new chef, it was absolutely superb , second to none, hospitality from Joanna and her crew was out of this world. Do yourself a favour and get yourself down here this is the “Best pub food not only in Borehamwood, but in the whole area, if not, the world” The whole vibe of the place has changed since Joanna and her team have taken over this lovely old pub.”

“Check-in was quick and easy, but the real highlight for us was the pub. Kajal looked after us and she was honestly brilliant! Really friendly, easy to chat to, and just made us feel comfortable straight away. She kept checking in on us at the right times, made some great suggestions, and you could tell she genuinely cared that we were having a good time. It gave the whole evening such a nice vibe. Thanks to Kajal we had a really chilled, enjoyable night. We’ll definitely be back!”

One of the best things is the parking — there are always plenty of spaces, which makes shopping there super convenient. Overall, it’s a well-organised store with good prices and an easy, stress-free experience every time.”
