“Visited the Runnymede hospital mainly for physio. My allocated physiotherapist was Joseph who has been amazing. He really listened to me throughout my visits and adjusted my exercises to match my many varied needs. He’s clearly very knowledgeable, in addition to exercises he also told my about shockwave therapy which is a noninvasive therapy (much better than blanket steroid injections typically offered by other therapists for pain management) and promotes actual healing. If I ever needed physiotherapy again I wouldn’t hesitate to book an appointment with Joseph. Thank you so much for everything!”

I’ve just had ACL surgery here and was quite apprehensive before as this was my first operation, however each and everyone of the staff members from the physios to the nurses, the surgeon, anesthesiologist, reception, overnight staff etc were all amazing. The food was great, the call button service was instant, and the nurses always looked genuinely happy and willing to care for my every need. Even after leaving the care continues from extensive and tailored information on how to recover in the most optimal way. I’d highly recommend this establishment.”

I am a nervous dental patient and have historically become very distressed in the Dentist's chair, which has led to me missing hygienist appointments. Ms Husein could not have done more to put me at ease and support me throughout my series of 3 appointments. Her kind, reassuring approach meant that I was able to tolerate everything she needed to do without becoming upset. “Amazing experience! They took me in when I was desperate because I kept bouncing from my GP to a pharmacy for the prescription of a medicine. The receptionist was kind enough to let me speak on the phone with Doctor Raj who then gave me an appointment. He was super kind and explained the pros and cons of the whole process and took me in twice without even charging me. He is caring, compassionate and such an expert! He explained everything very well and even went against his interest to suggest that it was not the right time for me to start this particular medication as I was still not completely ok. “I don't know how I can ever really thank Great Ormond Street Hospital and staff. You always hear about the Hospital and the great work that it does. But until you are physically thrust into it. Feet first, no-where left to turn, fire burning all around you and no water to put it out, you realise how great and how needed Great Ormond Street is needed. GOSH saved my child, like they have done for alot of others. But it's not just the Dr's and Nurses. It's the catering staff, the Cleaner's, the Workmen, the Radiologist's, the Receptionists, the Porters, the Helpers, its everybody that makes up GOSH and its surroundings. The buildings have been thought out with such care and attention to detail. The Disney are is just off from The Lagoon, which is the cateen eatery for the Hospital, but for parents and children in the Hospital for a long stint, saying your going to the canteen as opposed to saying your going to the Lagoon, both have different effects on a person's wellbeing and mental health. The Hospital as carefully thought these things through. The Lagoon leads on to the wonderful world of Disney. Where you can play till your hearts content. Young and old alike will always have time for Disney, and the memories that they have from the past or the memories that they are currently making. The Hospital is always clean. The staff are always friendly. They do not hesitate to listen to feedback if you have an issue, query or you just simply are not happy with how something is being done. GOSH is all that and more that you see in adverts. It truly is a miracle the work they do here. And the buildings here are filled with never ending love, from patients, staff and from parents.”

“I went to the well being clinic to help with sciatica and also persistent cold sore attacks. So far after just a few treatments my sciatica has improved and I have had no cold sores. Dr Chen is happy to explain what he’s doing and why and although it can be slightly uncomfortable as the acupuncture needles are being inserted, once in, the treatment is painless and relaxing. The option of buying the medicine is given at the end of the treatment but it is not a hard sell so I felt under no pressure to buy them. All in all I feel happy with my experience so far and intend to continue.”
