Family fun days in London

“Had a great time completing the "Escape The Castle" room. Phoebe was an excellent host. We were a group of 8, which is slightly over the recommended group size for the room. Even then, there was still enough space to move around and try different tasks in parallel. The challenges themselves were very well though out, fun, challenging and fit the theme quite well. Definitely one of the best escape room experiences. Highly recommend.”

“Had a great time at Escape London for a team social! We did the Witchcraft & Wizardry room in Whitechapel and had so much fun. Bea was our amazing host. We'll definitely be back to try out the other rooms soon.”

“We enjoyed the da Vinci room that we solved in less than one hour. The location is very good in Oxford Street, easy to reach. The choreography can be improved, clearly they don't have the budget and human resources of park themes. The game is fun and we got an quick introduction before starting. Probably the game is too hard for children, the target are teenagers, youth and adults.The staff is friendly and the toilet clean.”

“Spent a good 2.5 hours here playing the air hockey games, classic video games and golf simulator. Was really fun and we all had a great time. This is what Gravesend needs more of! Imaginative businesses! Not more food chains! Well done panic rooms, outstanding work”

“6 years ago, we started to look for nurseries for our first born near where we lived (quite far from Adventures) and really didn't get that same impression as when we stepped foot in Adventures Day Nursery for our first visit. Throughout the past 6 years, we've been fortunate enough to have the dedicated team look after both our sons and the love & affection shown is above anything we've seen at any nursery. I’ve found it’s been worth those long drop offs in the morning and those times I'd need to have my laptop with me to start work. It's clear Kim has taken her love of this work and spent time hiring staff who share that same passion to create this unique environment. This become particularly important when our 2nd child was diagnosed with a range of allergies, and it meant we were even more cautious around nursery care. However, the Adventures Team were able to accommodate and have made him feel very included in all activities. Sadly we're now coming to end of this journey, we can't help but recommend Kim & the wider team.”

“Sutherland has been a great nursery! Our son really enjoyed his time there, but he had to leave due to relocation. The highlight was the staff who were very kind and sweet. My son settled very well after a couple of weeks. He often wanted a morning cuddle from the staff with a smile on his face when I dropped him off in the morning. They did lots of fun activities, like making cards, costume party, celebration for national book day and sensory activities. The management team is very responsive. When I asked about the dietary plan and requested more meals with meat/fish, they acted in a few days to increase to 4 days/week with meat/fish. We also like their onsite kitchen so all the food could be prepared freshly for our son :) Their financial manager Julia is very friendly and helpful. She usually replies my email promptly with detailed answers. When my son needed to leave after giving notice, they made some adaptation for our schedule and waived some of the fee. That was very appreciated! We were a bit shocked by the 48hr quarantine policy regardless of the child's illness. That was challenging for us as two full-time working parents, but the manager said that policy will be reviewed in the future. Overall, our experience with Sutherland was great!”

“Returned for our annual.years Halloween visit. Bit disappointed to find the Halloween walk through bit was closed off however realised upon checking that we were a day early. Decided to make the most of it and enjoy the rides. Took some really lovely Halloween photos of my girls lots of perfect back drops and props available throughout the park Staff were lovely especially the man on the train ride. Staff on both coffee stations were friendly and my daughter's both enjoyed a delicious custom made hot chocolates in after eight and unicorn. Animals looked happy and with plenty of space to roam around. It was lovely to see the pig foraging for plants and eating on the grass. Two lovely carousels, a rollercoaster and several other rides plus the staff make this place a really fun day out for all the family We will return”

“We were incredibly lucky that our son attended Chairbears from the age of 10 months all the way to 3 and a bit. It has been an amazing experience and we're so sad to change nursery as we have now relocated. Best team ever and we are extremely grateful for all the love and support. Diane”

“Great family friendly atmosphere and we really enjoyed the experience love the football pitch Great fun! The zip line bit expensive 3 host for £12 if you have several kids but nevertheless kids had a wonderful time. Would love to see a more baby friendly area from the soft play with accessibility for people with disabilities. The food and drink where great quality we enjoyed the mac and cheese bites and chicken tenders yum yum!”

“I upgraded to an annual membership as you cannot do the zoo justice in just one visit. Well maintained enclosures with happy looking animals. Information and knowledgeable staff on hand everywhere and very pleased to interact with visitors. Breeding programs in evidence for the rare creatures too. Very educational for youngsters, although in all honesty I go during the week when less children are about. Favourite enclosures, Butterflies, Reptiles, tropical birds and rainforest. (Some of which are open enclosures so you are up close and personal with the animals) Restaurant available on site although I didn't love it. Gift shop good for a souvenir or two.”

“Last week, my husband, our kid a nd I visited this spot during our London trip—£25 for 1.5 hours was so worth it! There were tons of fun things to do. We played the claw machines over and over, and that excitement of trying to grab a toy was awesome. We even ended up with two rubber balls—such a nice little win! All the staff here were amazing. The albanian manager was really friendly as well. Shoutout to Paulina too—she was lovely! We’ll 100% come back the next time we’re in London. Highly recommend it for families!”

“I was impressed by how organized and informative the London Zoo is. I visited with students to do a conservation workshop, and the quality of learning was outstanding. The zoo was incredibly clean, and constructed with so much purpose and intentionality. I appreciated that many animals that require larger enclosures were not located at this property and instead out at Whipsnade, though I still found it a little jarring having a zoo in the middle of a city, with roads literally passing through the middle of it. However, we saw how much work was being done to provide support and care for the animals, and it was clear that they are intentional in all they are doing. Would definitely recommend and visit again.”

“Had a great tour around Fleet Street, really informative and Matt was brilliant in telling us great facts and showing me a different part of London, my favourite bit was the fountain in the barasters quarter, areas which were tiny pieces of quiet, peace and calmness. We booked as a group and our organiser has promised us a few new tours in the future! I'm up for the Black death one!!!”

“I spent quite a long time visiting various nurseries in and around the area but once I visited this place, I knew my son would settle in. The staff and management are very welcoming, friendly and approachable. The nursery has a lovely warm feel to it, my son is very happy as am I. My second son is due to attend shortly and I'm full of confidence he'll love it too.”

“Incredible nursery, our daughter joined 4 months ago and loves spending the day there. The staff are all very caring, organised, imaginative and friendly. We can tell they go above and beyond to have the kids spend quality time. The space is cleverly organised, spotless and well decorated. Games and activities are very varied, using both the inside and outside spaces, and always very imaginative. Kids also seem well relaxed, the overall atmosphere feels comfortable and nurturing. Toasts for the kids breakfast in the morning smell so good as well :)”

“Lucia and her team go above and beyond in getting to understand the children's needs at Bright Horizons. I am always bowled over by their intuitive interactions with the children as well as one another. I have often arrived at a random time and the children across all three rooms are calm and happy. I feel this is a true indication of how well looked after they all are.”

“I believe the name of the nursery already give us an insight of what to come. I was stressed about leaving my child with unknown people. Excellent day care nursery is more than the best, they support children in a holistic way. I feel like I am leaving my child with my own mother, which I do not have to worry about anything. I am more than greatful for the support I have been getting and I am highly positive to recommend this nursery to everyone parents who would like their children to be treated well and to be thought well. “Ended up needing to spend the night in London due to travel complications. We had an absolutely awfull day but we immediately felt better when we arrived to the hotel and were greeted by Phillip and the rest of the team ! The hotel was ridiculously cheap while also being clean and had everything you could need. Great bed and sheets, good TV, tea and coffee in the rooms, a bath ,a decent breakfast and a basic but very reasonable bar. Cant thank the staff enough as they were fantastic.”

“Swim every week with my son & have a second fun trip to the leisure pool too when I've time. There's a sauna next to the main (competition) pool. Plenty of showers - cubicle & open. Clean changing rooms. Entry is very reasonable. You need a returnable £1 coin for lockers. Nice cafe.”
