“Fabulous hotel in a great location. Staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms are large and very tidy, clean and have everything you need. It is refreshing to see that this hotel still provides daily room service, rooms tidied and beds remade, makings topped up. It just shows how this customer service can still be provided. Some of the mainstream hotel providers like travelodge and Premier should take a good look at the service provided by this hotel. Was given to me for a present and finally got to use it , so glad I didn’t waste it Treatment - was amazing and the lady Jess L was so kind and informative. Being a plus size body makes me anxious when getting naked and in this kind of environment. However she made me feel good in myself and massaged me wonderfully. We used the stone message chairs and they are so comfortable and getting a lovely lunch at the end and using the pool and other facilities definitely will be coming back ! And recommend to anyone. Also to made it better my mum couldn’t have a certain treatment so getting a complementary drink was super kind”

Pro: host was very pleasant and replied in timely manner, code door lock, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable and clean beds and beddings, cosy living area with access to Sky channels on smartTV, located in the heart of homely North Finchley and surrounded by nice shops, supermarkets, halal and asians grocery stores, nearby bus stops and walkable distance to a Northern Line tube station. Cons: No lift and steep staircase (but we were made aware of it)”

From start to finish the staff were attentive, courteous and prompt and the food was quick to come out (good because we were starving). To start I had the pate which was rich and flavourful and came served a wedge of crusty bread - an excellent accompaniment to balance the flavour. For my main I had the pollock which was delightful and light and seasoned to perfection. To finish I had millionaires shortbread, a dessert that never fails to satisfy me and in this case exceeded even my expectations with every mouthful. All in all an exemplary meal with outstanding service from the start and throughout.”

“We had the octopus to start. Tender and tasty - well prepared and presented. Very nice and at a very reasonable price. I had the deluxe burger. A very juicy, tasty burger topped with steak, with the chip shop chips. Really enjoyed it. My wife had the mixed seafood. Large juicy prawns, mussels, sea bass and salmon in a very nice sauce. All in all we thought the food was great and service was very good although they were quiet and don’t have their alcohol licence as yet - but should have it soon. Mus was our waiter - an asset to the restaurant. Made sure we had everything we needed. We’re really looking forward to returning to Barbarossa and sampling more of the menu.”
