“Absolutely beautiful pub! From the stunning wooden beamed exterior, to the quaint delightful interior, the Blackhorse, is exactly how a pub ought be. The menu options are fantastic, with options for kids and adults alike. So something for everyone - even fussy kids! I love visiting the Blackhorse, with my partner and teenage kids, and we always have a wonderful time, and have created some amazing memories there over the years. I look forward to creating many more memorable moments at the Blackhorse.”

We were on a works stay and I’m so glad we decided to eat at the Ashley Park pub they should really praise Tracy for her customer service and attitude. The pub was completely shuttered all over covid and I was worried that it would close forever, but it's back now under new ownership. It's clearly a good place for watching sport.”

“What a welcomed surprise at the Founders Arms. My mom and I took our first trip from the sunshine of Florida to a late November cold winter visit to London. We were so blessed to have stumbled upon this amazing place while on a personal walking tour with a friend who lives in London walking from Buckingham Palace to see the Change of Guard, to Big Ben and now across the Thames to this part of town. Neither she or her colleagues have ever visited this Pub so it was a first time for everyone. We immediately walked in from the bitter cold and were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Once our party of 3 were sat down, we had had a prime spot away from the crowded bar and middle tables and were placed closer to the back area. This was ideal because we had a river view of the Thames that opened up to a postcard picture of the city with people walking by on the outside. Not only did we get placed in a great spot, our server OLLIE was a complete gem. His service was impeccable, thoughtful and genuine. He also made us feel welcomed and not as tourists. He laughed with us and gave us some inside information on other things to see and do around Borough Market. The menu was all Gluten Free and that worked perfect for my friend’s dietary needs. What also worked was that my mom and I wanted to experience our first Pub meal of the famous “Fish and Chips.” We knew London was famous and well known for this simple meal, but when it arrived at our table, we were shocked that this was like a King/Queen sized meal that was unexpected and with their smashed peas. I didn’t know this was a thing, but Hulk Smash all the peas because they were good. The whole meal was WOW! My pictures do not do it justice. We even ordered my mom’s meal To-Go back to our flat. It actually stayed hot and was very well packaged for the journey. Kudos to the chef and the staff. Be prepared to spend at least 30£ per person as a side note. In the UK, the tip is already included so expect to be treated like royalty. Ollie was amazing in service. I’m so sorry to have waited this long to write about our experience, but it’s finally here. If he forgot something, he quickly apologized and brought it to the table right away. He also gave some helpful suggestions when trying some of the non-alcoholic drinks. The Apple and Elderflower was out of this world and so was the Hot Honey and Pineapple drink that my friend ordered and I had a sample sip. Wow! Whoever came up with these drink menus are to be commended. I mean wow. They were quite expensive for the first time guest, however we now know what to expect. Thank you Ollie and the Founder’s Arms for making our first trip to a Pub memorable, exciting, fun as well as giving us our first taste of London.”

“We’ve always loved the WTF, and it’s pretty much been our local since moving here 4yrs ago. However, what a breathe of fresh air it’s had recently with the renovation, and Exale brewery taking over!! A total triumph and such an exciting and welcomed addition to the area. This place brings something different to the other pubs I feel. It has a combination of great beers on tap (their pale rose is also gorgeous and such a bargain!) it’s super relaxed and welcoming to all types of people - young and old, family groups and lots of young people too. Staff are super friendly, lots of new faces and Short Road pizza is totally unbeatable! Love the weekly special offers too. What a cracking local boozer!! 5 stars all round xx”

“We held my grandad’s wake at The Nag’s Head last week and I honestly couldn’t fault them. Artur, the general manager, was incredibly helpful throughout and made the whole process so easy for us. The staff were kind, attentive and respectful, which meant a lot to our family on such a difficult day. They put on a really lovely buffet that was well presented and enjoyed by everyone, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Thank you to Artur and his team!”

“Really good, old school pub. No pretence, no nobs, no shoreditch type helmets. A locals pub it seems, subtle art deco styling inside. Hasn't been refurbished in years and all the better for it. Well priced beers too, a few ales on tap and the regular lagers. Went in on a random Tuesday, they had an open mic poetry night on. Actual people speaking, listening and not engrossed in their phones”

“We had THE BEST lunch at The White Cross Inn. We had just been to the pumpkin patch down the road and this was the perfect way to end a nice autumn day. I decided to get the meat pie of the day which was a steak pie and it came with gravy, mashed potatoes and heated greens. For an airport, I don't know what more you could ask for. Sure, it was pricy, loud, and busy, but it's an airport. If you're here looking for a luxury quant experience I suggest touching grass instead.”

“A really cosy and somewhat secluded building not far from Queens Park Rangers football club. The pub (The Queen’s Tavern) is no longer in use but the rest of the building is now a hostel. Quiet part of town at night but warm, friendly hostel for the more mature than the rowdy bunch.”

We ordered Japanese stir fried udon noodles pork (L), Japanese crispy dumpling (Gyoza) standard chicken & vegetable (7), Crispy Szechuan Aromatic Duck with Extra Pancakes (6) and extra spring onions & cucumbers. Food was perfect the noodles were not swimming in grease nice and dry. Dumplings were very crispy but soft at the same time. Crispy duck was also very delicious. “I held my 40th here in March and from initial meeting to the end of the evening Tad and his colleagues could not have been more helpful or kind. The venue is perfect - cool decor, great staff, delicious drink offerings and an element of cool/different. The food options on offer were ideal. I would hugely recommend!”
