But the lady and the man in the shop running the place were so welcoming and polite and lovely and made us feel comfortable. The patties were gorgeous and hot and decently priced. “I have been to this pub a few times.since the new manager took over (i think he has been managing for around 8 months now). They are a very friendly community based team. Today for example a lady in a wheel chair was outside and asked me.to let.thr staff kmow she needed help. Thr manager immediately let.me tell him even though he was really busy. Came out straight away and mads the lady feel special and supported. He even tried to find a comfy seat available for her and one that was not high. When I have been here before the manager was again very chatty and explained he wamts customers.tk feel special and valued. He certainly has achieved this. The ither staff also are friendly and always approachable. You will be served here quickly as they make customers a priority.the food is amazing too.”

“My partner and I were recommended to try this restaurant for my birthday yesterday.(6.8.25 Jamaica independence day. So glad we did! “We've been visiting 2 Happy Chefs for about 6 months now, switching from another local fish shop in the area. Every order is cooked fresh, and is delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly, always taking time to say hello and greeting you with a smile-not to mention offering recipe ideas for vegan tartar sauce. Another big draw for us is that they do a vegan cod option which is 1, delicious (again) and 2, a rarity in the area which means we can all enjoy a fish and chip dinner! I'm working my way through the menu on different visits and nothing has been short of tasty! Great chips, great food and great people!”

This was a fantastic Wetherspoons, admittedly the wait for food was a little longer than I’m used to at Wetherspoons locations but otherwise this was an amazing experience.
