The people in the shop are all lovely and the studio is clean and bright. It was my first tattoo, I was very nervous but made to feel at ease. “I know Chipotle really well bc I used to go 3 times a week at certain points and have been eating there (in the states) since 2003. Despite going to this location only once, I had a great experience probably the best I’ve had in the UK. Chicken was nicely charred and had really good smoky flavour. Salsas, brown rice and guacamole were so delicious. I will definitely try to go back.”

“I always have a relaxing time at Villiers. This is a cozy and laidback café, with a lot of different treats on offer that cater to a variety of diets. There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. I was very appreciative that I could choose between a few flourless snacks. I’ve had the flapjack, the cheesecake, and the salted caramel brownie, all of which I enjoyed. Shoutout to the barista Anna, who always ensures that the gluten free goodies I get are handled safely so I can enjoy them without getting a reaction! The coffee is very good, and I can't complain when there's nice latte art. I don’t love that the latte is served in a glass instead of a mug, but that's more of a preference than a comment on the quality. It tastes great regardless! In short: very nice and recommend!”

No food for me but it looks like there were more than few options. Plenty of seating inside and outside. If you’ve no one to chat with then there’s all that vinyl to browse instead!”

“Since moving to Watford 5 years ago I have been a regular of Sneha's and have never trusted anybody else to do my eyebrows. I was delighted when I found out that she had taken on her own place that was right by my work! Her salon is absolutely beautiful and super clean. I urge anybody who reads the comments below to please ignore them because Sneha is an honest and professional family woman who prides herself on her what she has achieved and let me tell you, having been a client of hers for 5 years, she has achieved so much and she deserves all the success in the world. “I recently got a regular pedicure at Gloss Bar, after being recommended it by a man I knew who had been going for some time (he had the Gentleman Mani and Pedi - he loved both of them). The overall service was professional, kind, and efficient. The salon was very clean, and had a minimalist feel to it. My nail tech Rita was friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process. I thought the final result was great! Recommended!”

“I have been coming to Sorella for years for my balayage using toner. I have been seen by both Emma and Devon who are absolutely incredible. Most recently Emma has coloured and styled my hair and it looks amazing. A natural balayage with a sun kissed look perfect for summer! Definitely would recommend this salon to all!”

“Been coming here for couple of years now, probably once a month sometimes twice a month. I was using them for around 6 months and then I brought my son to them who had never had a hair cut (3 years old) and they done a fantastic job. I’ve used a few different places around Watford but the service is top quality here, hence why I go back. The shop itself could do with a makeover in my honest opinion and I’m sure at some point it will but “you should never judge a book by it’s cover” sometimes the best places look like the worst from the outside but i fact this place is a diamond in the rough. Reasonably priced considering the ever increasing cost of haircuts - I think the end result and the service in general is worth it.”

“Hanako Brings Japan to Watford When I was looking for authentic Japanese food nearby, a few restaurants came up. But Hanako immediately caught my attention. Just from the Google review photos of their sushi and sashimi, I could see the craftsmanship. The presentation looked simple and neat, not overly decorated, but refined in a way that reminded me of true Japanese style. My Japanese friend and I were so excited that we arrived before the restaurant opened. The owner kindly let us in early, which was already such a warm welcome. Inside, the atmosphere was cozy and felt just like a small restaurant in Japan. The menu was easy to understand with clear English, and allergy information was clearly shown. On top of that, the owner kindly explained some of the dishes to us as well. I ordered the nabe udon and a sashimi sushi set. My friend had the shoyu ramen. The portion sizes were quite big for us, but because everything tasted so good, we finished it all. The flavors were very authentic but also easy to enjoy for people who may not be familiar with Japanese food. If I had to describe it in Japanese, I would say it has a 優しい味, meaning a gentle and comforting taste. We had a lovely chat with the owner. She told us that the tuna sashimi is 本マグロ, which is bluefin tuna imported from Japan. That truly impressed us, and you could taste the quality. Everything felt so fresh and nourishing. What surprised me even more is that Hanako has been open for 23 years. That’s nearly the same age as me. It made me think about how Japanese food wasn’t very common in the UK back then. I can only imagine how much this restaurant has gone through over the years to continue sharing this kind of food with the community. I wrote this review to share my appreciation for the food and people at Hanako. If you’re reading the menu outside and not sure whether to go in, I really recommend you try it. This place is a hidden gem.”

“We had a fantastic dining experience at Prime Rickmansworth in Chandlers Cross. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The triple-cooked chips were absolutely delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. “Had a paneer tikka Kathi roll, fries and a can of Limca for £8.90. Food was served within minutes, piping hot. Fries were really crispy and the portion was a good size for one. The paneer tikka roll was filling and tasted very delicious. Not too spicy. The kathi roll was a flaky paratha that crumbed a bit but tasted really buttery and crispy. Staff were friendly and helpful. We dined in and the lady at the counter brought our food to us. They clear and clean all tables as customers leave. They have veg and non veg options. Would eat here again.”

“So.... BMW X1 makes noise, doesn't change with speed, just noise and vibration through gear stick. Take to local garage, Allen & Cowser, who diagnose transfer box but not a job they wanted to undertake. Took car to several gearbox "specialists" who each diagnose something different, some will only help if I remove the gear box and deliver it, none mention transfer box. Found Motorsolve who confirmed transfer box. Got it booked in promptly, work carried out in timescale promised and within the cost quoted. Excellent and honest work carried out by professionals. Car drives like new again. Thank you to both garages for help diagnosing and repairing.”

“I had my car remapped by remap kings, being an older BMW my ECU didn’t take the map. I spoke to Gerrard who was very professional and took the time to sit on the phone with me and discuss a solution and why the problem occurred (this was out of their control). Rather than force another map on the car, they thought the best option was to protect my ECU and instead offered me a refund. After the initial disappointment of my car not taking the remap, I am very happy with the customer service provided. Really great bunch of guys.”

The salon is beautiful and spotless. You'll be made to feel comfortable and relaxed. Bonus, she only uses Aveda products which are natural and feel amazing on your hair.”
