“After buying a large kitchen table and chairs from Steve a couple of years ago I recently returned to get a sideboard for the living room. The latter of which was subject to very specific width, depth and height requirements which were easily accommodated. Steve is clearly passionate about his work and this shows through in the finished item. Both items I purchased were built with high quality materials, attention to detail and importantly a sense of uniqueness. Do not assume this comes at a price. It doesn’t! I have been pleasantly surprised at the cost on both occasions and I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the future.”

I was a bit concerned when I saw some of the negative reviews on here, wondering if the company had gone downhill since we last bought from them! But I needn't have worried - our new sofa was delivered perfectly on time, two working days after we had ordered it. We paid extra for assembly this time and I'm so glad we did - the delivery guy was very friendly and he expertly assembled the large corner sofa in just 30 minutes! “I am a real novice when it comes to woodworking and the staff here was very helpful not only with providing me with the materials I need but also gave me an advice that the plywood I was buying may not be esthetically pleasing and suggested me a better one. It's my first woodworking project so I stuck to cheaper material as I will no doubt make a mess of this but for my future projects when I get better at it I'll buy the better one. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I think this may now be my new local hardware store rather than B&Q. These guys know their stuff!”

It means it is in walking distance to me, and I pretty much find what I need every time. This store saves me travelling in a car, or even paying delivery charges when ordering online, therefore for me it works. The store is friendly, and it has a community feel.”
