“What an amazing hidden gem! The restaurant only seats about 20 people but the food is outstanding. Reminiscent of the rich indulgent food you find in North India. The Amritsari Kulcha was a real standout. As was the Old Delhi butter chicken, chicken lollipops, pani puri and chai. Everything a was amazing so you can’t go wrong!”

“My sister and I had a lovely time at Aladin tonight for dinner. Jack was our server and he was polite and very friendly. The food was incredible- I have come here a few times before and I am always happy. Will definitely be back!”

“It's all in the name! Great food in a modern and laid-back setting, with options for vegetarians and vegans. I got the Samosa Chole Chaat and the Jackfruit Biryani. Both were seasoned exquisitely, and rich in flavor. The chole chaat had offered a nice contrast with it's use of chutney, while the biryani was laden with spices. I thought I'd never learn to like jackfruit, but there's a first for everything! Would come back again on my next visit to London.”

“1st time using New Anarkali. Takeaway was delicious.This is how it should be done. Delicate tasty food without the oilyness and with a unique fresh and vibrant taste. Had been using the Viceroy forever but Anarkali beats them hands down on every level. Very friendly and even called me back an hour or so after we had finished to make sure we were happy with the food. Will most definitely return and intrigued to try more of their dishes This will be our new go to Indian from now on.”

“Went here for a Valentine’s Day dinner as Indian food is my girlfriend’s favourite. We have been to so many Indian restaurants over the years and quite a few expensive and Michelin star ones, but this was our favourite in terms of quality of food and at a decent price. The salmon was soft and delicious, the Paneer Tikka was tasty and the Chicken Lollipops were so good and my personal favourite. Our mains were very good, the lamb for the Adraki Lamb Shank Bhuna was fantastic quality and taste. The waiters were really nice and the interior was cosy but stands out. I would definitely recommend anyone who loves Indian food to give this place a try.”

“For me going for an Indian isn’t just about the food but the experience. We went on a Tuesday night and the staff were sensational, they greeted us at the door with a smile and even complimented my friends new leather jacket he was wearing. The food was brilliant and for our step father he said “it took him back home” (he is of Indian descent although born in Mozambique). The chef special of a lamb shank was brilliant too. The ambience was great with some fanatic music really setting the scene for a great night and traditional food. The only downside was as we went at 6pm on a Tuesday there was a slight wait on food due to it being so busy. My only advice was book in advance as you’ll struggle to get a seat.”

“Really yummy food! Great selections that are made with good taste. Portion sizes are also really good and i would reccomend the chaat and paneer Makhani as well as the gulabi rani cocktail for those who drink! Prachi was super friendly and really helpful! I would recommend coming here as the atmosphere is also really nice as well the food and service - makes for a great dinner or lunch out!”

“Went there tonight with my boyfriend and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the prawn puri, green chilli lamb and peshwari naan. The flavours were awesome and the lamb was super succulent. Portions sizes were definitely value for money, left the restaurant feeling really full! The staff are one of a kind, we were served by 'chris brown' and 'sean paul'- super friendly, very attentive and offered a great customer service. We also had a gourmet society card which gave us a discount off our bill - usually with these things you don't expect as good a service but I can happily say I couldn't ask for better. Will definitely visit again!”

“Possibly the best Indian I've ever had . The dishes I have tried so far have a fragrant and aromatic balance of spice and flavour. Can taste over a dozen fresh spices in every dish I've had so far.. highly recommend the birayani as a medium dish. Cant wait to try the rest of the menu.”

“Ordered delivery. Was perfectly on time. The food was so flipping delicious my face has morphed into the happy druling emoji, like buttery deliciousness in every bite. We have been shopping around for a new local for months with many disappointments either by extortionate pricing or drab food. This was the fifth menu I spotted on my Just eat price comparison and worked out about £4-5 cheaper than others, with more food. From now on they'll be getting all our perk points.”

“I’ve been ordering from these guys for around 8 years. The food is always amazing, the staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. “We came in just before closing time and were pleasantly surprised by how warm and welcoming the staff were. Despite the late hour, they treated us with kindness and made sure we felt comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find a place that combines great service with such tasty dishes, especially when we arrived so close to closing. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“We have been ordering from Indian Ocean for years and unfortunately we have moved out of the area no but would still order when we go back to the area. Never dissapointed with the food here, I'm half Indian so always have high expectations. We have tried a lot off the menu, all good. Generally order the prawn puree (the stopped doing it with king prawns a long time ago but still good),lamb dish and Korma which I'm not a fan off but tastes good here. Good flavours, not too spicy and not bland. The prices have always been good and so has the service. You always get a random bonus dish for free- the bombay potatoes are great! I look forward to when I am back in the area.”

“Fast delivery, unfortunately our order was missing a naan. This was the first time I had used Simply Indian, the gentleman making the delivery, apologised a lot and took the takeaway back, returning in 5 mins with the complete order. He would not take payment!!! as the wrong order was their fault. I was astounded and quite frankly I felt a bit embarrassed by the affair. Will definately use them again, food was great.”

“My 1st visit was November 24 and somehow I got mixed feelings for this place. After reading good reviews and that they have been rewarded one of the best when I went there felt a little disappointing. Stuff were absolutely chaotic and shouting to one another not paying attention to clients. The menu was missing many meals who can you have a fish section and only serve prawns and no other fish. I ordered keema naan and it was crispy and had like a blob of meat in the middle. Most of the food I eat in other places is far better. The atmosphere with this blue light is blinding.”
