The evening began with a generosity that’s actually become rare in fine dining - an extra splash of sauce here, a little more wine there - no questions, no charge, and not in excess, but with the sort of intuitive hospitality that says, “We’re glad you’re here.” It wasn’t about selling a product, or ticking boxes of ‘luxury’ and ‘innovation’; it was about making an experience breathe. The fish-focused menu was, quite simply, divine. Each plate felt considered but never contrived. The chef’s attention to detail was everywhere, not only in the precise cooking but in the courtesy and conversation that accompanied it. He seemed genuinely invested in the pleasure of his guests, which lent the whole evening a warmth too often missing from Michelin-minded establishments. In short, Behind is a restaurant that remembers why restaurants exist at all: to nourish, to delight, and, if only for a few hours, to make the world feel exquisitely well-arranged.”

“I have to give thanks to this vendor how often do you fancy a hot dog and all that is on offer is pork or beef. Not in this case, here you have options! delicious chicken sausage and they cater for vegans. My chicken hotdog was divine. Situated in front of the Cutty Sark. A lovely area to sit and take in the sites”

“It's all in the name! Great food in a modern and laid-back setting, with options for vegetarians and vegans. I got the Samosa Chole Chaat and the Jackfruit Biryani. Both were seasoned exquisitely, and rich in flavor. The chole chaat had offered a nice contrast with it's use of chutney, while the biryani was laden with spices. I thought I'd never learn to like jackfruit, but there's a first for everything! Would come back again on my next visit to London.”

“Have got take away from here a few times which has been amazing every time! The pad thai, massaman curry and green chicken curry have all been beautiful! The lunch special is incredible value. I had the green chicken curry and rice for £9.50 and it was massive! Could almost split it between 2 people, easily do able if you were to add another small dish alongside it! Friendly staff and very efficient service!”

“Really wanted to try out a different cafe instead of our usual one. So glad we did! I ordered on deliveroo Chicken Escalope sandwich and was hoping for the best! In the photo it only shows one half of the sandwich. So glad I did as it was fresh and delicious!! Will be ordering from Crossroads again for sure. My husband ordered a Sausage roll with 3 hash browns which he enjoyed. Cravings satisfied.”

“Really tasty Malaysian food at the Staines Food Court! The flavours are amazing and everything’s cooked fresh. The satay and noodles were my favourites. Staff are super friendly and happy to help if you’re not sure what to try. Great prices too — definitely coming back!”

“Really great fresh cooked food. The pizzas are superb as are the rest of the dishes from the pasta to to fish and meat. The desert menu is good with the star being the home made tiramisu. Service is top notch with friendly staff. Wine is very reasonable. It does get busy on a Friday and Saturday so best to book but that's a good sign of a great restaurant.”

“This place is great. The service was superb my wife and I felt welcome and like home. The food was delicious. We ordered: burrata, mushroom cream soup, king prawns in garlic sauce, beef lasagne, and cremé caramel. We also had the house wine from Sicilia. Toilets and kitchen looked and were clean. There were several tables for 1-2 people, and many other for medium parties 6-8 people. We were given a shot of lime liquor at the end. The only negative aspect of the visit is seeing some flies inside, they were annoying. Sadly, this part stuck in our heads. Maybe they could be more careful with the back door.”

“Lovely food here. Nice atmosphere with great food. The beef short rib was very soft and tender, the loaded chips with pulled beef was great and very unique to all others I have tried. The lamb shank roast was great too. The chefs know what they are doing. Its fully halal too, with no alcohol.”

“A regular at this amazing cafe. They offer a great selection of specialty coffee, also serving delicious Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea. If you're looking for a light snack, they have your classic pastries & cakes, smoothies and a delicious granola bowl. But the Thai curries are definitely the standout and a must-try. The cafe also sells handmade ceramics and crafts which adds a unique and creative ambient to the space. Staff are always welcoming and hospitable and even on a busy day, they keep calm and collected. We're very lucky to have them in Sheen.”
