“My spaghetti bolognaise was delish and the service was good. I don’t know why it’s always empty, it deserves more customers. The food all tasted fresh and had a authentic taste. If you’re in Finchley Central and looking to dine then this would be my first choice.”

“The Gazette is a lovely french restaurant that me and my friends came to visit for drinks. The service is incredible the bartender Sunny made the most incredible cocktails he was very welcoming which was such a nice experience. The staff Veo and Katie had lovely chat and were very attentive the atmosphere is great. I recommend for family’s and drinks with a partner.”

“Went for a birthday dinner and couldn’t have been more perfect. Very cool dark atmosphere and buzzy, felt like being in a film. Our waiter was relaxed and excellent. Food was simple and spot on, no faff just perfectly cooked French meat. Great wine list all by the glass. Not a cheap night out but I guess we did that and certainly don’t regret it. Will highly recommend”

“I recently celebrated the New Year with friends at Patara in Soho, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our friend introduced us to the finest Thai cuisine—and it absolutely delivered. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and attentive service set the tone for the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home and ensuring every detail was taken care of. As for the food, it was nothing short of spectacular. The Green Curry was a perfect harmony of spice and flavour, the Coconut Braised Beef melted in your mouth with its rich, creamy texture, and the Thai Milk Tea provided a delightful sweet touch to round off the meal. Every dish showcased authentic Thai flavours with a refined presentation. For anyone in Soho seeking an extraordinary culinary experience, Patara is the place to go. Absolutely outstanding!”

“After a reservation mixup somewhere else, we wondered by this fantastic Portuguese Restaurant on UK's Mother's Day. They surprisingly had one open reservation on Open Table and took us. Everything was amazing: Food, Service, and Atmosphere! We had red snapper, lamb chops, sea bass, roasted pork belly, and calamari. Everything was perfect! Loved the owner and her sons. They were so hospitable and just lovely. Will definitely be recommending this place to others.”

“Was welcomed promptly and taken to our seats even though we had no reservations (recommended on weekends). Food was of high quality and served promptly. The service was warm and welcoming and we were treated to live instrumental and vocal music and belly dancing on the Saturday we went. We loved the experience and this is definitely on our list of 'visit again' restaurants.”

“Just had lunch and wow — the food was so good! The mix grill was perfectly cooked, super juicy, and full of flavor. You could tell it was fresh off the grill with that perfect smoky taste. The Charsi Chicken Karahi was another standout — spicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sauce was so delicious that we couldn’t resist dipping the naan into every last bit. The service was warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back— highly recommended!”

“Lovely little restaurant within the garden centre. We did book ahead but there was a few tables available. Everything was clean and tidy with great food, the only recommendation is to have a better choice of tea options but that’s just being picky. Great tasting food.”

“I visit Madras Flavor at least once in 2 weeks, mainly for their vegetarian thali, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great consistency. The thali in particular is a real highlight — comforting, authentic, and satisfying every single time, which keeps me coming back again and again. On top of the food, the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and often plays nice Tamil songs in the background, which adds a homely and cultural touch to the dining experience. Overall, it’s one of my favourite places for authentic vegetarian South Indian food in West London.”

“A small and cozy little spot with a lovely atmosphere. I ordered the pistachio sauce pasta – it was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. My friend had the creamy mushroom pasta, which unfortunately turned out to be quite salty. Despite that, we still really enjoyed the place overall. The charm and ambiance made it a great experience, and we'd definitely consider coming back to try other dishes.”

“The best Chinese take away in north London! Been ordering from here for a couple of years now. It never disappoints and is great value for money. Their chicken satay is amazing and I’ve never tried a dish I didn’t like. We also order the soups regularly which are just fab. Portions are generous and the food is always so fresh. The woman who works there is so friendly and thorough with the orders and never seems to make any mistakes! We always look forward to our Chinese take away treat night!”
