“The entrance was unclear, as my guest didn’t realise that it was through the reception at the Eight Club. Very good service and friendly staff, from the moment we walked in, till the time we left. The menus took some time to arrive, but we were enjoying the view. We arrived at 6:30pm and there was one other table occupied. By 9:30pm when we left half the restaurant was full. For. Tues evening this was expected. We had the 5 course menu with half a bottle of Prosecco for £35.50. It was well worth the money, especially with the cost of living. Each dish was a work of art and perfectly executed. My favourite dishes were the seafood dish and the duck breast. The dessert was a bit heavy, but still tasty. The waitress was attentive and kept our glasses topped up throughout the evening. The venue was nicely decorated and the bathrooms were well presented. I would recommend this restaurant Update: On my second visit. The service was poor. We were left waiting for a long time between courses to be served and had to ask twice for the bill. Also the dishes served this time round for the tasting menu were mediocre in places and should have been better throughout. We were also not served any bread, as the other tables who were also doing the same menu received. I would still return, but I have now lowered my expectations, which is unfortunate and probably won’t be in any rush.”

Outside under the vine on a sunny day is epic, but anytime inside is wonderful too. The food is great but it's not about the food. It's unique, it has history and it won't be here forever SO GO THERE NOW. Such a special place.”

The menu boasts an array of crowd-pleasers, including dupbap (a Korean rice bowl topped with flavorful ingredients), poke rice, and crispy fried chicken, all crafted with care and bursting with flavor. During our visit, we ordered the beef dupbap, salmon poke, and tuna poke, and each dish was a standout. The beef dupbap was hearty and satisfying, with tender beef layered over perfectly cooked rice, elevated by the café’s signature wasabi soybean sauce that added a subtle, savory kick. The salmon and tuna poke bowls were equally impressive, with fresh, vibrant ingredients harmonized by a spicy mayonnaise dressing that brought just the right amount of heat and creaminess. Every bite felt balanced and thoughtfully prepared, showcasing the kitchen’s knack for blending bold flavors with comfort. To top it all off, we sipped on their latte, which was surprisingly excellent—smooth, well-balanced, and the perfect complement to the meal. The inviting ambiance and friendly service only added to the experience, making Café Macarong a must-visit for anyone craving comforting yet elevated dishes near Kew Gardens. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!”

“A taste of Morocco on Harrow road. Great atmosphere with a friendly and kind owner, it’s a great place to eat, have some tea or some sweet snacks. There is a lot of seating and there is easy on street parking. We will definitely return.”

“We had such a lovely experience at Joice Café in Mill Hill, largely thanks to Ramin. His service was exceptional from start to finish, attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling intrusive. The food was outstanding. The duck and salt beef Benedict were honestly to die for, perfectly cooked, beautifully balanced, and clearly made with real care. You can tell when a place takes pride in both its kitchen and its service, and Joice Café absolutely does. Ramin made the whole experience feel effortless and special, which went a long way, especially when dining with family. We left feeling looked after, well fed, and already planning our return. Highly recommend asking for Ramin if you’re visiting. A real credit to the café.”

“Visiting London from Glasgow recently I enjoyed a nice late lunch here which comprised a toasted panini with tomato, basil and mozzarella with an espresso. Quick service despite being busy; the food was very nice and I liked that it was served with some dressed leaves on the side to optionally add on. The coffee is good and the vibe and atmosphere is really pleasant. The cafe is ideally placed to relax handily before catching a fast train to the city at the station adjacent.”

“This place has everything you would like to have to share a moment with family, friends or just by yourself, there are books you can read while enjoying a nice cup of coffee or smoothie, great music, plants gives this place natural harmony and you can try their pastel the Nata or their delicious muffins, their pastries here a very tasty and Fresh too, it’s a nice cosy place with a relax atmosphere, I felt welcome with genuine kindness by the staff who prepared my coffee with much love and care and it was enjoyable to drink. Nice place to get your coffee for your train journey or to come and chill. I will Definitely come back.”

“Great old style park cafe. The cafe has a wide selection of food and drinks. The prices are cheap. I had the chilli with cheese and the chip was £5.90. It was tasty and had a large portion.”

“I stopped by Bem Coffee recently, and it was an absolute gem of a cafe! I ordered a double espresso and a cappuccino. And both are exceptional. The double espresso was perfectly brewed- rich, bold, and smooth, with just the right amount of intensity to kickstart my day. The cappuccino was equally impressive! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. I will definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommend!”

“A recommended choice if you look for good food, often with a twist to keep it interesting. Highlight for us were the muscles, fish, pumpkin stuffed pasta, the very low alcohol beer and deserts. But I would trust the chef with anything. Everything was cooked on point. The staff was lovely and happy to ensure we were comfortable and looked after. We spend a bit more on drinks however the meal prices were entirely worth the price and reasonable. A real food highlight for the area and definitely the choice for bringing guests. “Lovely little cafe at a quiet spot on the Wetlands. Food served is sandwiches and soups, with coffee, tea etc. We had 2no. Bacon and Salad Cibattas with coffee for lunch. Sat outside as it was a beautiful sunny day.”
