“Gina’s is the best. We’ve been struggling to find some good quality, authentic Ghanaian food and we’ve finally found it. Everyone was so lovely - our server especially. The restaurant was quite busy but she did an amazing job. The food was a little slow to come out but honestly worth the wait, and with the songs they were playing and the vibe of the restaurant we really didn’t mind. We’re definitely coming back again ❤️”

“Genuine restaurant with high standard service and manners. I went in to pay in advance for a large meal and announced I will be back later to pick it up. The staff member was most kind in helping me put together the order as I wanted it. Furthermore, I was late to return and pick up the order and in the meantime the restaurant had closed. The staff member were so dedicated that they had left my order with the next door shop and a note to pick it up. BTW, it was beautifully packed and still hot. Huge thanks to you all and to the guy next doors who immediately brought the order when he saw me outside.”

“Came here today for the first time with my partner and son. Excellent customer service from All 3 staff members working there. It was very busy but they were still attentive and very helpful. The food portions were great, food quality good and breakfasts were cooked well. The prices were so reasonable too. The staff were very friendly and patient with our toddler. We will be regulars here for sure now and this place is an asset to the high street in Hornchurch.”

“Probably the best pizza i’ve had in a while. They have a few unique options which makes a nice change from the classic Italian pizzas. Service is efficient and staff are friendly too. The base and crust is amazing. Nduja Wagyu was spicy and delicious. The Burrata Pizza was fresh with lots of burrata, fresh tomato sauce and fresh basil. Short rib croquettes were ‘melt in the mouth’ deliciousness.”

“Best pizza and tiramisu around. I can comfortably say it is as good (or even better) than in Italy itself. You can see the process of making the pizza. I highly recommend trying homemade tiramisu, light, creamy and delicious! Super friendly stuff, beautiful design inside, great prices for the area, 10/10!!”

“Tried Kulu Kulu after seeing a review on TikTok, and it really lived up to the high expectations. We got there for exactly 5pm when they opened and there were already a couple of people waiting outside. The sushi started rolling pretty much straight away. There was a wide range of sushi available - cooked and raw, as well as hand rolls and other various side dishes. The prices were also reasonable (given the location) and the portion sizes of the sushi were fantastic. Highly recommend and I will definitely be visiting again”

“The bubble tea was absolutely fantastic, I had the taro milk tea with tapioca (made fresh, which was pretty cool). Me & my wife then came for dinner. I liked the food, but it's a very exquisite taste which some may not like. I appreciate that the chicken is halal. I had the chicken soup, and my wife had the prawns with rice. Great decor with lots of plants, oriental snacks & a pac-man arcade machine. ❤️”

“Beautiful cafe with plenty of space, the staff are so attentive and friendly and the food and drinks are well priced. Everything is always spotless, I have been here many times and never had any issues. Highly recommend for any meal of the day whether dining alone or with others!”

“Kimchee has a modest entrance that’s easy to spot, and it already had a short queue of people waiting when we arrived. I headed straight to the host stand to let them know we had a booking for seven. The host was quick, polite, and took us straight in. It was good to see they take bookings seriously because we avoided the queue entirely. At first we were placed at a shared six person table, but when we explained we were celebrating and wanted a bit more privacy, he found us a quieter two person table at the back. That was a really considerate touch. Within seconds of sitting down, our waitress brought over water and cups. She was organised, polite, and had a good sense of timing. She let us read the menu without hovering, but as soon as we looked up to find her, she came over. She took the order, repeated everything back, and checked for allergies. We both ordered drinks. I had the lychee love, which was sweet and very easy to enjoy. My partner had a pina colada that tasted as good as it looked. The food came out in stages, not all at once, but it arrived fairly quickly. We had beef bulgogi, spicy chicken bulgogi, avocado salad, sticky rice, and cheese tteokbokki. The tteokbokki was very spicy, so something to keep in mind, but the flavour was excellent. The rice cakes have that soft, chewy texture that’s very different but full of character. It’s more of a side dish, but a good one. The beef and chicken came on small charcoal burners that kept everything warm and gave the meat a nice toasted edge. It made the meal feel a bit more special. The atmosphere in the main area is busy and lively, with the noise coming from conversations and the open kitchen. I didn’t notice any music, but it didn’t feel like anything was missing. The lighting is low with focused spotlights, giving the place a calm, Korean inspired aesthetic with soft shadows and a warm tone. Sitting in the quieter back section was perfect for us. The total was 96 pounds for two people. For the amount of food, the cocktail quality, and the general experience, I think that’s fair. The staff were friendly and efficient, and everything ran smoothly without mistakes. Overall, Kimchee delivered a great evening. Good food, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I’d happily go back.”

“I had a great experience! Wanted to experience Albanian food for the first time and was not disappointed. My waiter helped pick out everything on the menu for me (I had the Tave Dheu it was so good and very filling for a starter dish). The restaurant had a nice warm woody atmosphere and had very tasteful Albanian design. Everyone in the restaurant was Albanian so you really feel like you’ve been transported! Highly recommend.”

“When I get a chance I stop off here to eat because the food is lovely and the staff are nice. You get your moneys worth here, I ordered a small lamb kebab and got bread, houmous etc before my main meal. Then my main meal has two types of rice, salad and meat. I always leave feeling full. Little touches also like brining me chili sauce and garlic sauce.”

“A friend brought me here for a meet up as she lives in London and I live near Brighton. The waiter service was great, Mete was helpful about the food and friendly and fun. However, it was the food that knocked me out. I'm a veggie and the nut roast was fabulous, as was everything else. Top marks, you beat the top veggie restaurant in Brighton by a mile.”
