“Went to Eat Beirut in London with family and shared the set meal for 2 and set meal for 4. It ended up being a great choice — loads of fresh dips, crispy falafel, tasty salads, and plenty of grilled meats and veggie dishes to pass around. Everything was well-seasoned and generous, so we were happily picking at plates the whole time. The vibe was relaxed, the food was great value, and the staff were genuinely helpful and kind — big shout-out to them for making the whole experience even better. Overall, it was a fun, easy meal with solid Lebanese flavours, and I’d definitely go back.”

“One of the best steaks I've had in London - ordered the wagyu and the flat iron steak. Sides were amazing too. Very friendly staff as well. The free ice-cream at the end of the meal was a sweet perfect end to the entire experience. I will definitely come back here the next time I visit London.”

Easy to enjoy, easy to recommend. The food is solid too. Tasty, well made, nothing overcomplicated, just good cooking that hits the spot. A place that is simple to like and easy to come back to.”

“I went to La Mia Mamma for my birthday with a group of 11 girls. We had a table at 7pm on Saturday evening and had the pasta set menu- starters, 3 types of pasta and desserts afterwards. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was fun- they bought the desserts out singing for my birthday with all the staff. Food was beautiful and plenty of it (with a prosecco included)! Habib was great to us. So grateful and thank you to Krisha for organising it all very well, too.”

“This was my third visit to The Kings Head in Sevenoaks within just a couple of months, and there’s a very good reason I keep coming back. I travel all the way from Farnham, which is a 50-mile trip, but it’s absolutely worth it every time. I’d probably go further if they asked nicely. The pub has everything you’d hope for from a proper village pub. The building is beautifully traditional, full of character, and in the summer the garden is a genuinely lovely place to sit and unwind. The staff are consistently excellent, friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in making people feel right at home. There’s also a solid selection of real ales and lagers, which never disappoints. My first visit was at the tail end of summer, when I sat in the garden for lunch and was instantly taken with the place. A couple of weeks later I returned for an evening meal and was so impressed that I decided to relocate our annual family remembrance gathering here. We came as a group of 11 for lunch on Saturday 15th November, and even though the pub was very busy, the service was faultless. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and had a great sense of humour, which is essential when dealing with our lively family. The team here didn’t flinch. Even though the pub was busy, service stayed top-notch and dishes arrived far quicker than I expected. Miracles do happen. All the dishes we ordered arrived promptly, and every one of us commented on the generous portion sizes (a rarity these days!) and the superb quality. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. I had the cod stew with chorizo and crispy kale, which was an absolute standout — beautifully balanced and bursting with flavour, like a little firework display in a bowl. I followed it with an apple crumble and custard, which met the approval of even our most serious crumble connoisseurs. And, to top it all off, the bill was a very pleasant surprise. It’s refreshing to enjoy food and service of this standard without feeling like you’ve been mugged on the way out. The Kings Head is a place I genuinely love. Traditional, welcoming, great food, great staff, and great value. I’ll happily keep making the 50-mile journey, it’s become a firm favourite of mine.”

“Excellent pub that hasn't changed in years and the locals like it like that obviously. Barman was really friendly and we had great seats and space to watch the Arsenal match in comfort. Quite nice tunes were played earlier too on the jukebox. Di and would definitely return. Ah..good prices too! Makes a change from the rip off prices you get in London. A 10!”

“I went in for a meal deal and was expecting to leave asap however self checkout had different ideas I was helped by a very nice Gentleman called Nathan can you as a store or a company Please recognise Nathan for his exceptional professionalism and kind nature. After I had been helped by him I was paying and I heard him complimenting a customer for their attire making pleasant conversation with them also as well as directing them and assisting them to pay. Thank you Nathan I wish a lot of people upheld such lovely values as yourself. I have worked retail for 10 years and would have felt honoured to work along side someone like that making the customer experience top tier as he did. In short Excellent staff member, nice clean store also. 5/5”

We had a really nice and enjoyable conversation about each others life experiences which made the long journey feel short and fun. The car was very clean and his driving was comfortable. Kumar was a great companion for my journey!”

“We were a group of 4 adults and 2 young kids that visited Medlar for lunch on a Sunday. The décor did feel a bit formal but the friendly staff helped to create a relaxed atmosphere. They offer a price fixe menu of between 1 and 3 courses (with an optional extra cheese course), which felt refreshingly old school in this era of sharing plates that we all live in. Between the 4 adults, we tried out the crab raviolo and slow cooked rabbit starters, followed by the roast quail, calf’s liver and roast guinea fowl mains. For dessert we shared the tart tatin, crème brulee and warm chocolate mousse. The food was beautifully presented and quite flavourful as well. From the starters we tried the crab raviolo was the clear winner, all the mains seemed similarly good, while the tart tatin was an excellent finisher to the meal. I must give special mention to the kid friendliness of the place, as this is not what I expected after reviewing the published menu online which wouldn’t appeal to younger kids. They were very accommodating to our children and offered to tailor make a dish using any mix of items on the menu at a reasonable price of £20. On that note the service was a real highlight of our meal, all the staff we interacted with seemed so genuine and friendly. The bill for the 6 of us came to £414 of which £92 was spent on drinks. The set price per adult of £58 for 3 courses is a relative bargain in this part of town (note that the price does vary based on time of the week, even though very similar menus are on offer), even more so once you consider their very generous servings of complementary bread as well as the chocolate truffles after our meal. On the whole an excellent meal in a place with old worldly charm and with so many tempting items on the menu yet to be tried, I will certainly be back in future…”

“A beautifully decorated Turkish restaurant in the heart of Harrow shopping centre. Easy ti get to by public transport and plenty of car park available. Service is good, food is yummy and staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are decent but more pricey than other Turkish restaurants. Plenty of seating space and a nice place to celebrate a special day or event.”

“Headed out for a quick Sunday evening meal (kid free!!) for my wife's birthday so it was quiet. We had an attentive server and great food, which is the norm with this Pizza Express. With our Gold Membership, we had a whole host of offers to enjoy including a free bottle of prosecco. The new 60th Anniversary Queen's Margherita was fantastic - keep it on the menu!! The huge fudge cake was perhaps a step too far for my wife but I enjoyed the Dolcetti sorbet to end the meal. Making saving is excess of £50 can never be ignored so fair play to Pizza Express and their excellent loyalty system!”

“This pub is the real thing. From the moment you arrive, you realise it’s the place to be on the King’s Road. Whether you want a drink at the bar, eat at the restaurant or watch a game downstairs, this spot has everything to offer. I came for the food. Actually food was so good, I came back the following week again. One thing to note is that the Cadogan Arms is part of the JKS Group which owns some of the best restaurants in London including Gymkhana, Brigadiers, Sabor, Bao, etc. Food review: -onion bhajis for starters 10/10 super flavours -fried chicken for starters 10/10, coating is just superb -tried the mushroom pie 9/10, some extra gravy would have hit the spot but the tarragon gave it so much flavour -ham steak with egg 8/10, their specialty it seems, very good but wasn’t my fav I also tried some dishes from others and everything was delicious so I really think you can’t go wrong. Service is super professional, staff are on point and you’d hope so for the 13.5% discretionary service charge they add. Overall I love the vibe, love the food and it’s really a top gastro pub. Can’t wait to come back. Book in advance!”
