“@Bain Capital @Allan Leighton @Lawrence Harvey please look at this review about the Chertsey branch and the staff: From stepping into the Chertsey Pizza Express for my daughters 5th birthday on Tuesday, we we welcomed with big smiles from the very friendly staff. My family and I were amazed with a wonderful waiter (Jordie) he truly made the whole experience amazing, not only was he very patient with our change in orders , he was friendly , smiley and understood the situation with us having 4 young kids and made it extremely easy by being his great self. Usually a night out at a restaurant can be a bit of a chore, however, due to the wonderful staff at this branch/restaurant, my wife and i were actually able to relax and enjoy our very well presented meal. To top it all off, the Chocolate Sundae which my daughter still talks about really made her night. I want to say a special thanks to Jordie and the staff at Chertsey Pizza Express. Thank you all for the wonderful night , Jordie you are a true asset to the company, I hope your manager will flag this to the chairman and recognise how skilled you truly are . “We spent our recent wedding anniversary at the Golden Grove and really enjoyed our meal and evening. I totally recommend The Bandit Pizza - amazing light, fluffy, tasty pizza dough (as per the garlic bread) with oozing caramel onion, jalepeneo, pork and beef topping - fantastic! Staff were the best bar staff I have ever met! Live music too and the outside area is perfect! Brilliant pub and restaurant! Treats fot the dog. We'll be back soon. “Ordered last night for delivery through Deliveroo, delivery was fast and no problems. Delivery guy was nice and told me they had upgraded both my pizza from 12” to 15”! “After seeing some bad reviews here I thought I'd write an honest review. I have ordered fish and chips from harrys chertsey pretty much every week. I have never. I repeat never had any problem with my order. Chips always cooked well not greasy and soggy like suggested in other reviews. Again the fish batter always light and fluffy and cooked properly. As I say I order from them weekly not once had a problem. Also will add the delivery is quick and hot on arrival Don't let the reviews with clear lies put you off, this fish and chip shop is good try a order and judge yourself, you will not regret it if you want fish and chips.”

Prices are very reasonable, making it a solid choice for both quality and affordability. Service was warm and highly attentive, though at times it felt a little chaotic, perhaps due to the lunchtime rush. Nonetheless, the staff were friendly and eager to help. The restaurant was very clean, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. A great spot for a casual meal with flavour and good service. Would definitely return.”

“After a lovely dinner, I decided to treat myself to dessert, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding, and it was simply divine. The sponge was moist and warm, soaked in just the right amount of toffee sauce, and topped with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. Every bite was indulgent and comforting – the kind of dessert that makes you smile. It was the perfect way to finish the meal. “We had the pleasure of eating here over 2 days (morning and evening) We were staying at Premier Inn next door due to work. Sharon and Jack could not do enough to make our experience a very pleasant one. Everything done with a smile and a chat. I had the steak and ale pie Monday evening - just WOW! Tuesday evening Katsu chicken - equally as nice. Sharon was on breakfast Tuesday morning and we were met with a smile and a lovely greeting and very nice breakfast. Jackie looked after us yesterday and was lovely and attentive too. Lovely food, brilliant staff great atmosphere.”

“Security guard went over his work remit by going out of his way to help me,excellent customer support from him. A manager I didn't take her name but she too gave me fabulous customer support. The only issue I had at the till I was told my Nectar card was blocked so I have to call Sainsbury's to fix it & add 100 points from shopping apparently I've got to do within 30 days. All this means I won't call,not convenient”

“I often get the Gluten free fish and chips and sausage in batter are lovely. Light crispy batter and cooked perfectly. Staff are always friendly, although you have to wait a while for your food when they are busy, it is totally worth the wait. Keep up the good work.”
